Seafood melody! I visited this fine establishment w my 2 local guides from Port Hope! Great wait staff!

My fiancé and I came for dinner last night. The food was good. We also ordered spinach and artichoke dip which was amazing. And we can’t forget the garden salad. The first dish had a lot of dressing but the second was great.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE PLEASE READ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! me & my partner decided we wanted italian food today so we went to the closest spot to us @ the time. the moment me and my partner arrived, the maintenance from the exterior to the window just it all looked a bit unsettling, but we decided to give it a shot anyways. so we walked in & there was only about 2 other guests sitting down, between the whole restaurant, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated, the lady then came & seated us at a table where there was garbage under it (wrapper from basket) (sauce) (salad) & sticky ness, she noticed us kicking it away but did nothing in regards to cleaning it up for us or perhaps moving us to a different table.. she left us there with that mess when there was about 20 different open tables. mind you the windows were so dirty the place was clearly not cleaned properly in a very long time, at least throughly…. we shrugged it off and said whatever, anyways, another lady came to us with menus, so we took a browse. not only was the prices increased by $7 for every single thing, they had terrible customer service. our bread & butter that came was crispy crispy, almost rock solid, almost cut myself trying to cut it into pieces…. i ordered a rosè penne pasta, and my partner ordered a cheese cappaelletti, a build your own dish for each, the “lunch special”. we put our pride to the side and waited for the food to come, when it came, we unbearably started laughing because as if this experience already couldn’t get worst, the portions were insanely small for each dish, like a kids meal, couldn’t even fill up a kid how small the portion was. my penne pasta had close to 0 sauce on it, and my partners dish was dirty underneath it. (i made her check due to the amount of red flags we already walked through) at this point we just wanted the bill and wanted to get out of there. as a human i definitely would not recommend this particular east side mario’s until they become more business oriented. i really wished our experience could have been different.

Absolutely 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the best staff! Food is always hot & delicious! The manager Lori, is so friendly and always welcomes us with a warm smile and a friendly giggle. The restaurant is very clean and our go to place! The only thing we’d like to see on the menu for the summer is an assortment of appetizers on a single plate. A Chicken Slider or 2 with a few wings and some mozzarella sticks, Bruschetta Flatbread with a small dish of the creamy spinach dip. A great patio plate with a few cocktails or beers. Or inside by the bar to watch a game of the beloved Toronto Blue Jays and enjoy East Side Mario’s Summer Tasty Bits Platter ONLY at East Side Mario’s. Let people try all the appetizers in one shot! We ordered through Northumberland Delivers on Valentine’s Day. We made some special requests regarding sides, removing items and extra. Not one of those requests we done. I contacted the restaurant. Manager confirmed their fault and said they would credit me. As it was Valentines she said it was busy and she’d call me tomorrow to work out credit…….still nothing!

The way you treated 2 seniors in your restaurant on Wednesday was horrible. They ordered Cheese Cappelletti, and received the wrong food. When they did not want to wait another 30 minutes for their food to come again, you still charged them the full price for food they never received. They should never have even had to pay for their soup and breadsticks let alone 2 entrees they never received. Your customer service is horrible, and that is robbery.

Enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza and Caesar salad, but the rest of the menu is getting expensive. Fun drinks?
