S	Steve mcphail on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Dan come and replace a diverter valve for our downstairs shower. I'm in a wheelchair, so couldn't get down to inspect while he was here. The new diverter valve wasn't installed centered to the shower and tub spout. When I called him later about it, he said it was because of the size difference between the one that came out, and it would have been more money as it would need new wood to move the valve. I get that, but it should have been an option given to me, especially since we had to open up the wall anyways. After a few years, the cartridge is now needing replaced. We replaced the cartridge, and I was shown a picture of how the handle fits against the finishing plate. The diverter valve is too flush to the tile, and the handle doesn't fit properly against the plate. Dan is a very personable person to deal with, but this was a disappointing end result with the shower. Edit: Dan, that is a commendable offer to come back and fix the problem, but as I had explained to you on the phone after, my father had gone down, closed the wall and replaced the tiles before I even knew about the issue. There is nobody that would choose the option of not centering everything on the wall. It's too bad the issue wasn't noticed before the wall was closed up, but thanks for the offer to make it right.

He helped my parents out in a pinch when they were having drainage issues from incorrectly installed piping done by another company long ago. My family and I were without heat; another company quoted me thousands of dollars to fix my boiler. I wanted a second opinion and I was referred to Dan from Dynasty Plumbing and Heating. Dan was able to arrive the same day I phoned and drove out to Abbotsford. When he arrived, he was the nicest guy and started explaining to me what could be the problem as he started to diagnose the boiler. He was able to find the issue to the problem very fast and had my boiler in working condition that day. The pricing was very reasonable for a Saturday same day call out and at the end of the day Dan fixed the heart of the issue while the other companies told me that I would have to replace multiple components on my boiler. My boiler stopped working in -10 weather and I could see how other companies could take advantage of people, but not Dan. Dan was honest and professional and my family thanks him for saving the day! I will be using Dynasty Plumbing and Heating again and will be referring him to all my family and friends.

Dan was polite and professional and explained what he was doing and why. He took his time to make sure there were no leaks and and that everything was flowing properly. He brought supplies to protect my floors from any messy water and had the parts on hand needed to replace a section of pipe. He also kindly let me know what I was doing wrong with my garburator (pretty much everything) and how to use it properly. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan for any plumbing work you need.
