Rooms are very clean (must take care of the hallway that doesn't look as clean). Breakgast included are awasome . Very well located to use public transportation. Good for long staying. Everything around to eat close early .. be aware of that.

Place is 8 min away from US embassy and located in downtown. Most of the food places nearby closes by 3pm Mon to fri.but few eateries are open till 9pm. No vending machine.place is quiet and dead after 7pm on weekdays. A/C unit works well. WiFi works well.no phone in the room. Entry from parking can be used to avoid stairs.no weird smells.clean and no electronic entry to building or the room, conventional locks and keys.3 chairs, 1 queen bed. Dull lighting.no phone inaode the room.old but maintained cabinets. No front desk in this Duvernay building. You need to check in at le Victoria, another hotel one block away.parking space is public so if you leave your spot will be occupied by someone else during weekdays & business hours. Everyday you need to go les suites Victoria to get your free parking pass. For Free breakfast you get coupons worth $10 CAD each and you need to use it in a mocha cafe located in les suites Victoria and not in Duvernay. Overall it's in good location for 1 or 2 nights stay.

Would highly recommend against staying here. The apartment smelled, bed was hard as a rock, heating system was very loud, air was very dry, the snow plow in the parking lot shook the building from 12am-3am, literally 0 acoustic insulation between apartments and we heard the neighbours tv as clear as we could hear our own. After having a very poor night of sleep we decided to leave and go to a different hotel, we left at 12pm and they charged us the entire cost for that day (for 1 hour from 11am to noon) and promised that they would refund the third day. They lied and never refunded the third day to my credit card. 1 star might be too generous.

Great stay. Clean spacious apartment with everything we wanted. Breakfast was brilliant. I was concerned about walking down the road to the hotel for breakfast, but as it wasn't raining or cold, it was well worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Room was nice. No carpet and the bed squeaked like crazy so it was noisy inside and echoey. Couldn't hear anyone else so that was a plus. There is no elevator and you have to drive through a public parking lot and into the north west corner ... you're on the 2nd floor when you park but they call it the first floor. Stairs only to get to the second floor. Travel light or you'll get a work out carrying your stuff. Small kitchenette in the room but no coffee! Check in and breakfast are at the other hotel so be aware of this.

I had a good stay - it is very convenient to downtown Ottawa. The rooms themselves are very clean, nicely outfitted, and very comfortable. It's next to a busy nightlife area which could be good or bad. Parking is a bit awkward. Checkin is a pain, especially in winter (it is down the street a block). Common areas are run down. Price was great.

Reception is very friendly and helpful. Room is good with small kitchen. My only concern is a weird smell. Don't know what is it.

The breakfast was wonderful! The servers were friendly, the decor was cozy, and the food was delicious. The room was spacious and clean, and the kitchenette was stocked with pots, dishes, and other kitchen needs. The bed was comfortable, and the room was extremely clean. The only issues were that some of the lamps were not placed close enough to electrical outlets to actually by able to be plugged in and used, and the sink in the bathroom had a tendency to back up, which had to be managed by keeping the plug in the sink when it was not being used. Aside from these two issues, it was a very nice suite ideally situated near restaurants and places of interest such as the Museum of History.
