The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, and definitely exceeded my expectations. Service was also very good; polite and knowledgeable. The pl lace wasn't too fancy but I would certainly stay again.

I had the unique experience of staying in the exact same room (on the 18th floor) one year apart. More on that. These rooms are student residences and they're quite good for that purpose, or perhaps for work/conference trips if you are forced to have a roommate. They're also good if you're staying with a family, adults in one room and kids in the other room. Bring an ethernet cable if you want to bring your laptop, the internet speeds are VERY good. The wifi works as well, but is not as reliable or fast, but good enough for Netflix or whatever streaming you use. The desks are excellent to work on and are large, with three sets of power outlets. There's a small TV on the dresser. The beds are clean and the floors are clean as well. The kitchenette has a microwave, a full size fridge, a large sink and lots of counter space as well as a square table. The bathroom has a shower, lots of towels that (usually) get replaced and some nice hotel soaps. The air conditioning was cold and quiet. Now I mentioned I was in the exact same room as last year. This year I noticed quite a bit of wall damage from kids sticking up posters. I also found snot on the wall close to one of the beds. Yep, bits of snot. I carry baby wipes / bleach wipes for occasions like this. I didn't bother to tell the staff about this one, it's not worth it. Desk service is kind of non-existent but the room does get refreshed, which is fine. Being Canada 150, we paid 25% more than regular price, almost double what we paid last year (which was 33% off). Parking was also more expensive. Despite this, it was still worth it and cheaper than any other non-ghetto option. Next time we're in Ottawa it's likely we'll stay here again, especially when prices go back down. I'm not willing to pay for a boutique luxury experience while traveling with kids, so 90u fits the bill. Also the location is a short walk to everywhere we wanted to be (Loblaws, laundromat, restaurants, the Market, Parliament, attractions) and underground parking is a couple of minutes away. I give the package a very solid 3 and a must stay if you can get a discounted rate.

The rooms are decent student quality rooms. The ac works, bathrooms are decent. There is daily housekeeping. The make disappointment is the parking, it is extremely expensive at $16. However the parking :/ the street is 9 dollars, but there is a catch, it is 6am to 6am (this is on weekends), and yes this means you have to wake up to refill the meter. Doesn't work on weekdays. Also look for the alumni discount if applicable to you. Overall great but parking is expensive and fat

My overnight stay at the residence was fairly normal. The rooms were typical dorm style and nothing spectacular, but the beds were pretty comfy. The staff was pretty helpful considering they had multiple groups staying there

I hate this place. The only benefit here is that there's two rooms. I can understand the university wanting to make some money from student housing when they're away for the summer, but the bare minimum is a clean room. When I entered my room, there was clutter and junk on top of the tables. The walls of the rooms have wallpapers one side but not the other. On top of one of the beds, I found blood stains on both the wall and table along with the remnants of a poster/graffiti. A CRT TV was provided, which isn't that big of a deal because I don't watch TV, but all the places I've stayed at so far had at least LCD ones. Parking costed me $17 per night compared to the other campus housing (Residence and Conference Center in Hamilton) which provided parking at no charge. I chose this place to stay at because my previous experiences at the aforementioned campus housing was amazing and chose it over a nearby hotel that was cheaper and provided free parking and breakfast. Next time, I know that not all campuses are made the same.

I've stayed here for a conference a couple of times in the past, and the room experience has been pretty good each time. The 20th floor rooms have private bathrooms, a TV, fridge, desk, and decent Wi-Fi. My two complaints are that the mattresses are unusually firm, and that you have to pay for your entire stay upfront, and not at the end like a typical hotel.

At the time of booking, I saw a two-bedroom university dormitories that was full on the same day. We transferred to a hotel in the city center. The front desk gave me the wrong address. I asked for 40 minutes. The check-in later gave us a room. The two beds were very inconvenient to our family. I had to pay extra for the room for their mistakes. Currently, the old pictures are still displayed on the Internet.

I have lived in the Henderson residence. It is beautiful, eco friendly, and the large windows let in a lot of natural light. It is easy to cook in as there is a kitchen on every floor. There aren't a lot of storage options in the rooms however. Also, there is never anyone working at the reception desk so you have to go to the residence complex to ask questions or get a new key if you're locked out of your room. Has good security though, was recently updated.
