★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buyer Beware. Apparently if a loans company calls and talks to this company first and has you get in touch with Dundas Appraisal to arrange to have them come out and you pay for the appraisal, apparently you don’t own the appraisal and can’t even see the appraisal. Dundas Appraisals policy is to just send the appraisal that you pay for to the random loans company that they talked to in the beginning even though you have no contract or arrangement with that company and are in fact not going to use them. To top it all off, I was supposed to get a receipt for the appraisal that I paid for but the owner, Gord Dundas didn’t follow through on that either. That’s ok. I’ll follow up with Revenue Canada regarding my receipt.
