★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was referred to Frost Valuations by the bank via my broker for my house evaluation. Contacted Grant after he has done the outside evaluation as the inside I've provided pictures due to covid, I was told he can't provide me a copy of my evaluation as I'm not his client. I explained that I paid for the evaluation and he didn't even bother to respond to provide any assistance. Appalling customer service and I would recommend to go elsewhere even if your bank recommend them.
I was able to get the evaluation amount from my broker and it's way below, as a client I would have atleast want to understand their criteria or atleast have a chat and go through a verbal report atleast for the amount I've paid. AVOID

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trevor Frost just completed an appraisal for me and the bank would not accept it because it was lacking information. I would expect an appraisor to understsnd what a bank requires. After the first meeting at the time of the appraisal I received an email from the office telling me I had to pay for the appraisal before they would do it. I left a phone message and email for trevor and the office. Two days later I called the office and later the same day I received an email from Trevor explaining I would have to pay another $2250 and wait another 2 weeks. Since this is the fourth appraisal I have had done this year I was very dissapointed in the outcome. I believe Frost Appraisals has a very bad attitude and I will never use or recomend them to anyone. Seems they are into waisting peoples time and money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a terrible company full of "professionals" that pretend to know what they are looking at. It's no wonder Edmonton has one of the lowest and ugliest real estate markets in all of Canada.
I had two appraisals done, one came in at $590K and Patty from Frost Valuations appraised my house at a jokingly $480K. They looked at two "comparables" that didnt have anywhere close to the quality of materials and open floor plan I have.
I have spent over $200K on house renos since I bought it. I had over $30K of landscaping which included trees, new sod, stone work, new cedar fence and cedar deck. The new windows and Hardie siding alone were another $60K. The basement was $80K. It was completely reframed and opened up with a steel beam for the open concept. The bathroom has floor to ceiling glass subway tiles, wood cladding, bidet toilet, and marble sink that was another $4K alone. All this work and I havent even mentioned the upstairs that was completely renovated as well. I resubmitted 8 new comparables in the same area which they quickly refused to even look at.
This company is killing real estate deals, one deal at a time.
