★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These are good dudes here. I come in now and then for small steel orders. Usually less that $100 for my hobby stuff. No order too small. The guys are always accommodating and the service is fast. The pricing is very good too. No need to go to the supermarket with these guys around

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a 3 - 6 hour job done here, think again. There should be negative numbers because these guys deserve a -5 for transparency. I brought a 3 - 5 hour job for a piece of equipment I need to be operational to them back in November 2021along with my machinist from Vancouver to review the job in detail. Thought I'd support local. Next week. no problem turned into stop asking and don't call us, we'll call you, but this week for sure. Each week was a different story from we are short, big jobs took priority, didn't want the apprentice to do it, have no control over what they guys out back. Finally today after close to 6 weeks of 'it will be done this week' I picked the item up today and made other more reliable and honest arrangements. They could have simply been transparent and said they couldn't do it. Also they could have do what other shops do and recommend another local supplier. They cost me time and money. I could have, 1. bought a new part, 2. used another more reliable local shop, 3. my machinist wanted to take it to Vancouver where we have lots of shops that do what they commit to. End of the day is I understand when they are so busy with larger work that they can't get to a smaller job. What I am picked about is each week they promised this week. Six weeks with no end in sight is not a week btw!
