I got in a MVA June 2017 and I went to Chris Bacon for assistance with my ICBC claim. he is very down to earth and easy to talk to, no questions asked I hired him! I am so happy that I did. Him and his staff Alex, Jayme and Cassandra were amazing to deal with and always got back to me in a timely manner whenever I had questions in regards to my claim. Chris looked out for my best interest and didn't settle until i was 100% happy with the outcome. I would recommend Chris Bacon and his team to anyone looking for an ICBC lawyer.

3 years ago I sold and purchased a house. Through recommendations we went with DBM. I wouldn't recommend them to any of my friends or family or would go back for their services on my next house transaction. The lawyer assigned made many mistakes and even made a mistake on the rate he charged us. Although he did adjust the rate to the initial quoted rate afterwards. He's a professional lawyer and should have reviewed the documents properly. Buying and selling a house is a stressful and timely matter, in the end it all went through but the additional stress he cause us wasn't appreciated. Maybe if I were a higher dollar client they would have treated me differently, but who knows as I wont be going back. Have a great day and thank you for reading

Terrible lawyer. Very little communication. Told me out of the blue they were meeting with icbc and were going to settle, I said I was still injured though. They told me if I didn't settle their percentage taken would go up and I didn't feel confident they would make that up considering I I rarely got a reply from them. I didn't realize that I could have fired them and gotten a new lawyer... because I've never been in this situation before. They knew I was still waiting on a long waitlist for an mri. Had they waited they would have found out I had a massive tear in my hip and would need surgery to repair it. 6 years post accident I'm still waiting for that surgery... pain every day but im a mother of 3 and I can't stop my life so im working and living in pain every day. They were not fighting for me and they should be ashamed they took a cut of the pitiful amount icbc paid when I was 100% not at fault and the driver was charged with dangerous driving at the scene. I still pay out of pocket for physical therapies just to be able to do my job still and regardless am in pain. Im only 34 years old and my life was forever changed 6 years ago... . Their lack of care and wanting to make a quick buck is appalling. I'll never forgive them for making money off my pain and not even fighting for me.

Joe and his team were FANTASTIC to work with! I was put at ease the moment the process started- all of my questions were answered in a timely manner and I felt totally looked after. Any time I had a concern or needed clarification for anything- someone from their team responded within 48 hours. From start- finish everything ran smoothly. Havin an ICBC claim can be very stressful. This has been a long process for me. I met Joe and he helped me stay calm and relaxed throughout the entire time. Don Drysdale is my dad's estate lawyer. Since my dad's passing, he has been assisting/ guiding me through the probate process. He is knowledgeable and friendly.

I want to share the facts of my encounter: I chose Drysdale Bacon McStravick to be our Lawyers for the sale of our home AND our purchase of our new home one month prior to execution of completion dates. As of right now, I am writing at a week before completion date. I spoke to Abby to start, then next was Tanya, then next was Lewis. Once completion date was given to me at two weeks, I immediately let them know. I organized my affairs with my mortgage broker and Realtor to send all the documents. One week left, I am talking to a new person named Vanessa -- I receive an email that it is not sufficient amount of time because the bank I'm working with needs to provide a document that'll come Friday. Drysdale wanted to charge me fees, stating they needed to work over the weekend and it's too rushed for them(200+/per day). I asked for the exact full cost -- vague over the phone. I emailed regarding the cost -- no responsen about the cost but I'll be expecting to speak to the Lawyer, Richard soon. Richard didn't call me, so I phoned Richard, no response. Hours gone by, no response. I decided to have my mortgage broker look for another Law Firm that will take care of my purchase as a backup if they continue to not respond to my calls or emails, and Yes! I found one. Once, I switched lawyers, I finally received an email from Vanessa stating that she received a notification of a change of lawyer. If this is how you want to stress out near completion date then by all means. They have good reviews but I feel they have other priorities of importance than yours and was not a client focused team or system. I know they are busy because Drysdale(Tanya sent the email) whom wanted to reject my application when I emailed them back stating my completion date. They mentioned they were full and could not accept anymore application but because I sent mine many weeks ago, I was approved by them. After this negative experience, as an investor, I would not and will not recommend this company as most people want good communication and a smooth transition when dealing with paperwork. My family found Don Drysdale's lawyers' office prior selling our house. I sold my house during Christmas time when it was a busy season. Steven Bercek was available to help us , he was very professional , friendly and detailed . Our deal was special , needed lots of details back and forth with the buyer's lawyer, every time Steven will call me for the newest update. On the completion day, lawyer's office sent the carrier after 3 pm to deposit the money, the second day, he called me to follow up, it turned out the bank's teller made a mistake , he personally went to the branch again and fixed it for us. That made us worry free. We were very happy with Steven Bercek and this lawyer's office .
