I have worked with a few lawyers and law firms over the past 3 years due to the nature of my legal issues in my family law case involving a protection order, interim orders, child custody and support so I have gotten to know the work of a few different lawyers. I have been most impressed by Nova Law, specifically the lawyers Brennan Clarkson and Edith Szilagyi. They were the ones I chose to wrap up my divorce case. Brennan Clarkson took the lead on handling my divorce. He appeared in court on my behalf on many different appearances. I could tell during these court appearances that Brennan was well-respected by the Judges and Masters and they made their respect known through their comments to him during the proceedings. Brennan was always one step ahead of the opposition and saved me from having to deal with a larger mess further down the road by being strategic from the get-go. He was diligent, detail oriented and efficient. I had a number of occasions where I interacted with Edith Szilagyi and I felt as if both Brennan and Edith cared about my case as if it were their own. They worked as a team to go above and beyond to help me and my child The divorce was a very stressful and fearful time for me, however, with the way Brennan and Edith communicated with me and with each other, I immediately felt more confident and at ease about my case. Brennan and Edith care about their work and they will fight for you to get you the best outcome. That is what I see is their priority. There is no doubt about it. They were really a Godsend. A recommendation prompted me to take the first step through Nova Law’s doors but it was the demonstration of their commitment, knowledge, compassion and integrity, as they worked on my case, that has compelled me to write this testimonial. Edith is consultative and personable and provided good council to guide me through my separation. There have been some challenges regarding availability due to changes internal to Nova but those have largely been addressed as of the time of this review.

Edith is one of the kindest and understanding lawyers I have ever met. Regarding family law, there's a genuine level of care throughout the whole process, which is hard to find. 10/10 would recommend.
