The tub looks brand new and they applied a non-slip finish to the tub which eliminated the need to use a tub mat. My neighbor also had Dr Tubs re-glaze his tub the same day and is very pleased with the result. The Dr Tubs technician arrived on time, was courteous and professional . I used Dr Tubs based on the recommendation of a friend of mine. I will definitely recommend Dr Tubs to my friends.

If you have a bathtub that has lost it's shine, is peeling, etc then reglazing is a wonderful option if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a new tub plus installation. My tenant was complaining about the bathtub, and rightfully so. Over time it became grey and rough. It looked horrible and probably wasn't comfortable. The problem was that it was an apartment and had only one bathroom, so renovating was not an option. We needed to fix it fast. Dr. Tubs finished the job in a couple hours and our tenant had to be out of the apartment for only 1 day (24 hours). The vapours are toxic so you cannot stay in the apartment as the work is being done, you would need to ask if the same goes for a house. These guys come prepared and are very professional. They even clean up after themselves and leave detailed after care instructions so you can keep your tub looking great. Please do not go to a hardware store and buy the "touch up" in the spray cans, it looks horrible and you will regret it.

Last year they did my tub and had to come back a second time to repair. One year later the tub peeled. They came back and reglazed but do a terrible job under "warranty" they scheduled to come back and I needed to remove everything from the bathroom. Twice they cancelled last minute. I guess they are more interested in serving new customers to get paid rather than keeping the ones they inconvenienced happy. I asked that they come on a day prior to my day off so I can use the shower before I go to work but they won't accommodate. Use someone else!!

Bonus....the new non-slip surface is soft underfoot, but does provide a firm surface, well worth the extra charge. I would recommend Dr. Tubs if you want a great job and avoid a big reno. Vince was the technician who did the work. And a shout out to Enza who arranges everything! Thanks everyone.
