K	Katie DesLauriers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The secretary of this office needs to be educated in how birth certificates work in Ontario for new borns. Once the health card is registered to the baby through the hospital, it is valid for 90 days. We called this office today as recommended by our pediatrition to have my son's tongue tie corrected. Once the appointment was set and my husband went to let her know the health card number she rudely said that it was not vaild. She gave him the number for service Ontario and asked that we get our issue rectified through them. So he called and got through to someone and they let us know about the 90 day validation. After getting off the phone with them, my husband then called Dr. Wise's office back and when trying to explain how this(we were told by service Canada that she was probably uneducated on new born health cards) works she was talking over my husband and would not let him explain. Without even going to this office for the actual appointment, would indefinitely recommend NOT even calling this office unless you are prepared to be spoken to with such little respect. You would ultimately think that an office with other doctors giving out referrals to see Dr.Wise, would have properly manered and trained staff to help new parents with infant issues
S	Sharon Sokalsky on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not use this doctor. My son almost died because Dr.Wise released him from the hospital before he had a bowel movement. It’s standard practice that before releasing a new born that they have a bowel movement. Luckily I had the good sense to get my son checked by a different doctor and it turned out he had a condition called Hirschsprung’s disease. He ended up having 6 inches of his colon removed. I have spoken with countless parents of children he has misdiagnosed. They call him “don’t worry Wise”. I can’t believe he is still practicing.

He saved my daughter many many times. He encouraged me to be strong. As a single father who raised my daughter I am indebted to dr wise. Now my daughter is healthy and happy second year uoft student. Always available when we need him, very open and honest, and my kids don't understand his humor but I love it! His daughter is just as great and we're so thankful for them!
