Dr. Pasternak is very thorough Dentist. I'm Very pleased with his dental work.

I have been going to this dental clinic for years. I am appalled at the service they are now providing. I had not been to the dentist since late 2016 as I had no coverage and finally received benefits and booked a cleaning right away. I had a 3:00PM appointment which I was prompt for but not taken into the room until 3:05PM. After a bit of chit chat, hanging my jacket and settling in the cleaning began. It was quick and painless (both I was surprised by due to the time lapse in my last visit). But did not question much as the hygienist didn't have much to report then scheduling a visit in the new year for a "full oral check up" Upon making a new appointment for the new year and discussing my new benefit plan I left to continue on my day. It wasn't until I got into my car and saw the time was only 3:48PM and thought it was the fastest visit ever. I later received an invoice a notification from my benefit provider that they received my claim for $231.00. Now I am not paying out of pocket and one would think not to complain but the price for the time I spent seemed outrageous. I called for an itemized invoice to see I was charged for 3 scaling units + half a scaling and a polish - all completed in 35 minutes! I am not here to say whether that amount was actually scaled or not but from my previous experience and others I have spoken to (and google) the average time for 1 unit of scaling is roughly 15 mins. Based on this timeline - my super star hygienist managed to scale a unit in under 10 minutes and do a polish.... Pretty pathetic SERVICES TO SAY THE LEAST!!! Very sad that this is what our dental system has come to! Id be ashamed to have my name associated to this! Not to mention how run down the place has become over the years! I guess that is what it takes now a days to keep a six figure plus salary in this industry!

By far the best Dentist in YYZ! Family and I have been visiting Dr. Paternak & his team, over a decade! They attend ever little detail, to ensure Patients well being, and ensuring a seamless execution of those 'nasty tooth aches' and so much more! 'A visit to Dr.Mark keeps teeth decay away! Amazing team! Mary is a sweetheart and kudos to Sherlin the hygienist!

I recently switched dentists and was referred to Dr Pasternak. After 40 years of seeing a dentist I have finally found the Michael Jordan of dentists. Had some extensive dental work done and did not feel any pain from the insertion of the needle onwards. Dr Pasternak made going to the dentist a pleasurable experience. Thank you Lonny

I had a bad experience here. Dr Pasternak used that old school black coloured filling to fill a cavity and told me he needed to use it because I had braces on. When my new dentist saw this they changed it right away and told me that made no sense. Also get a second opinion if he suggests pulling teeth because of over crowding. Huge regrets for trusting this dentist.

Dr.Pasternak and his team is the best dental team I have ever come across. Initially I was referred to Dr.Pasternak by my partner who swore by him. Right before I went to Dr. Pasternak I had a root canal from another dentist that was poorly done with no follow up and left me in lots of pain. I went to Dr.Pasternak with all my problems, he started me on antibiotics, referred to be a root canal specialist, and referred me to a fantastic gum specialist for gum surgery that also works out of the office. He is patient, kind, and looks at you as a human being instead of $$$. His team is also so kind, from his hygienists to his receptionist they greet you with kindness and smiles. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you chose this team to be your dentist!

Dr. Pasternak is amazing! I have anxiety when it comes to the dentist but he is amazing at putting his patients at ease. He doesn't beat around the bush and is very efficient. He also didn't make me feel bad for letting my teeth get bad and his staff have been great at setting appointments, calling reminders out and they are very knowledgeable. Direct billing through insurance. The office has great covid protocols/policys in place. 10/10. I'll recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist because he's that great! Just had work done today and you can't even tell. Just blown away by his care and professionalism.
