A week before my surgery date i had to go back to the hospital for a third check up for breast cancer and she got her husband to get me in for a double ultra sound so I didn’t have to stress if I could have my breast reduction and tummy tuck. Got the all clear to go ahead. You will be in great hands. Cutest compression top was a nice surprise and comfortable to ware.
C	Craig Wariner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ literally the worst medical office to call into I have ever experienced - calls are rarely answered - message on machine is kind of rude actually - they wont answer the phone certain days of the week - or at all - they say they will return your call in 3-4 days ( what?! ) - they say do not call in again after leaving a message - so either the Dr is too cheap to staff adequately or the folks answering the phone have issues. Given lack of other surgeon options in the Valley, one may choose to look outside of Valley if customer service is important to you. in our experience, we were "waiting on approval for 9 months for MSP to approve" in reality - the doctor had a baby and took maternity leave and left staff to lie about the situation, presumably to try to prevent patients seeking other surgeon. just my thoughts.
J	Josh Burris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the office staff were helpful for the most part over email, but over the phone came off as frustrated and seeming as if the call was inconveniencing them. i understand the circumstances being difficult, but i think its important to put issues aside while speaking to a patient, as a surgery already comes with a lot of potential anxiety. i am grateful for their help in everything, and the work they do, but i believe there is definitely a learning opportunity here. I would not want a difficult initial experience to dissuade anyone from chosing Dr Astanehe and missing out. That aside, Dr Astanehe was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end, a great surgeon, extremely friendly, and very reassuring the whole time. i am so glad i was able to arrange to travel so far, because i would not have wanted to miss out on the opportunity to meet and be treated by Dr Astanehe and her team. I would absolutely recommend her, and the staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Very accommodating, very helpful, and very professional through and through.
