★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute worst customer service / customer care I've ever experienced. The owner literally kicked me out of store. I've spent thousands of dollars in the last 16 months restoring my boat and wanted to return a steering wheel (still in original box) that I purchased that didn't fit. They wouldn't even give me a store credit or a return with my original receipt. I even wanted to continue shopping there as I had more supplies to purchase.
I've NEVER felt so mistreated and not cared for as a human being! Like come on, literally kick me out of the store!
Never again will I go back to Dowsar marine and I wouldn't advise you to either. They don't deserve your you as a customer.
Looks like Brewer's marine, Bay City Marine as well as other retailers in Hamilton will be my new home and hopefully they will treat me with a little more respect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the shop is not notifying the customer that the sale is final, very over priced compared to the competitor, poor service, however, he has many varieties, please check the price before buying from them, also the quality of the goods from the competitor is much higher, will never buy from them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just drove 1.5 hrs after speaking with gentleman on the phone about parts I require. He indicated to photograph to verify they are the correct parts. I have been sitting outside calling and knocking for 20m, sign and Google indicate they are open. Currently frustrated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent, fun and bright marine store complete with very knowledgeable staff. They went out of their way to find out exactly what I needed and then ordered the right parts for my sailboat. The factory sent them the wrong parts initially but they corrected that quickly without me having to do anything at all. The right parts then came in within a few days and they called me right away. It is so convenient to have them around and the only way too ensure they stick around is to give them your all your business. I will.

The store had everything I needed and the two gentlemen who run it were very knowledgeable and free with advice without making me feel like I was asking stupid questions. Prices were quite reasonable, too. Highly recommended.
