Doug Lacey's Basement Systems is top notch! we used them for Radon Mitigation and the process from the first call to their office to completion of the project was seamless. They call on their way to your scheduled appointment to let you know they are coming. They were punctual, knowledgeable, and in my humble opinion did quality work. The price is reasonable and they actually left the work area cleaner than when they arrived. Kayla, Bruce and Paul were amazing, and I would highly recommend this company. Great work Doug Lacey's.

I had a leak in my basement. Doug Lacey sent out their system design specialist to find the problem. He seemed very confident on what he "thought" was the problem. I was given a $6000 quote to install a sump pump and drainage system. On top of that I was to supply a dedicated electrical outlet from the electrical panel to the utility room, remove the kitchen counter and bathroom shower (then put back together) and then replace and paint the drywall after they completed their work. So an additional $3000 to $4000 cost. I got a second opinion from another company and they found a leaking kitchen drain pipe behind the drywall. It only cost me $800 to get the pipe fixed and drywall re-done! I would have spent $10,000 for nothing.

Had a lovely guy out to the house, let's call him "Jimmy", to get a quote for a sump pump, radon mitigation and smart jacks. He was here for a few hours and promised a written quote the next day. I asked if I could get a breakdown of what each thing would cost. He said no, like it was some kind of military secret. A week later, I called them because I hadn't heard from Jimmy. Within a few hours, I get the quote. No apology or anything. The quote included, "Act within 24 hours and get 5% off!!!". I hate tactics like that. I replied to Jimmy that I'd still like a price breakdown and, in the absence of that, a new quote that didn't include one of the items because the price was over my budget. This was 10 days ago. What have I heard since then? Crickets... How do you get business like this? At least everyone on the phone was very nice and helpful.

Marc came by our place in Airdrie to do our annual inspection today. What a super friendly, courteous gentleman! He did a great job and I took him up on his suggestion of putting in a sump pump back-up system. He worked quickly, efficiently and did a super job. We will definitely refer friends to this company if they have any needs for great work to be done. My only wish was that I could have had a "senior's discount" but it is still worth every cent for peace of mind. Kudos to a fantastic company.

Mom and I hired DLBS for a leaky basement at moms house in Mackenzie Towne, Calgary. DLBS installed interior weeping tile, sump pump and radon mitigation system. DLBS checked the boxes of time (3 days)βœ…, cost (very reasonable) βœ… and quality (product, install, tidy and safe) βœ… = dry basement and no Radon ?! The staff were professional and knowledgeable and their product lines are warranted. Mom and I recommend them.

Amazing company, quoted us with a very fair price for a basement crack repair. The consultation crew took the time to ensure we understood what was being done (Flexispan Kit), how much it would cost ($750) and what we were required to do (move the electrical box as the crack was directly behind it). They gave 90 days to decide if we wanted to go through with it (very patient). Once we paid the deposit and set a date a crew of one guy came to fix the crack did an amazing job! He was respectful, funny, and very friendly. Managed to accomplish the job in a very short amount of time, and the finished product looks perfect! Plus we have a transferable (upon sale of the house) life time warranty! Couldn't have asked for a better job done :D

This is a great company. They drove all the way to Red Deer for a no-obligation quote on radon mitigation. I chose them for the installation and am happy with the results (quiet and effective). They operate well - proficient, informative, reasonably priced and honest. Thank you!

I would not suggest anyone work with this company. My husband and I hired them to move a sump line for us, and it was nothing short of a disappointment. First Eric canceled twice on the in person consult (with no notice.) Then provided a quote based off of texts and pictures. The quote was provided and they took our deposit. When their crew finally arrived to do the work, having not seen our home or property in person, they arrived two hours later than they told us, with not so much as a courtesy call, and reeked of marijuana, but they then informed us they were unable and not prepared to do the work, and it would be double the quote, and have to be rebooked. They have also refused to refund us our deposit, because β€œwe signed a contract.” They chose not to come and see our property in person, opted to provide their contract in this manner and we were promised a service they were unable to provide. They were willing to provide β€œa new assessment”, which has doubled in price. Use extreme caution, we are hiring elsewhere.
