โ โ โ โ โ I used to come here often with the previous owner and decided to give it a try with the new owners. First off, the male owner didn't have his mask on over his nose and kept scratching his nose. This concerned me but I got a chicken platter. The salad was basic and underwhelming. The chicken was alright but I ended up getting hot sauce that tasted like tomato paste which kind of ruined it. Overall the food was pretty tasteless. With all the other choices in the area there is just no reason to eat here.

โ โ โ โ โ I usually buy lunch at A&W in the same block. Wanted to have Ramen at the east end of the block to find that they are very full. Not keen on waiting outside on the street and with only myself to feed , I walked over to Donair Pro just 3 steps away. I donโt quite remember when I had my last donair ( maybe 6 years ago ?) . i looked : Regular , Lebanese , Hawaiian, Halifax . I was like what are all these? They are the various dressings and vegetable mixes. The lady was nice , she let me choose the veggies like one would in Subway (Subway is what I am more familiar with) . I chose yogurt as my dressing. My chicken Hawaii donair ($10.50) came out huge , hot, and contains lots of meat. I could not finish . The leftover would be 1/2 could be part of my dinner . The taste was decent . Meat wasnโt too dry and had lots of flavour. The place is very hot under the hot wave . No AC unfortunately . But it would be a pleasant place during the winter I guess, where you can get your food fast.

โ โ โ โ โ We got two platters. Serving sizes are pretty massive for what your paying but the quality is noticeable and oddly one platter got double the amount of protein compared to the other. Salad comprised of pieces of lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pickles, and onions. Undressed. The hummus is really nice and well seasoned. The rice is interestingly seasoned with a hint of cinnamon, although when we got it you could tell it had been made a while ago, it was dry but kinda oily. The meat is a bit salty and the sauces were okay, I think I was expecting there to be a greater contrast between the salty meat and like a tart yogurt/cream sauces. If you are looking for a pretty big serving, they serve a decent meal. But like my partner said "never trust a self proclaimed pro, go to the dude that just loves donaire"

โ โ โ โ โ Was walking to A & W and saw this place, went inside, the food was terrible, $14 will get you an extra small plate of shawrma, which felt like its from last week, the guy who works there didnt even ask what sauce do i want, he just dump everything on it. Washroom is out of service, โbroke recently, like two days agoโ that by law they have to have. Hope the owner see this and change things.

โ โ โ โ โ Been going to this place for couple of months now. There used to work a nice couple who cared about customers. They have hired new people who obviously does not care for business. At first I entered I didnโt see any one for some minutes then I see this lady with her headphones on setting on the other side and barely stood up and came to me. Ask for extra chicken but it was not even the amount of usual. I only gave 2stars because I like the food but they need to reconsider staff if they want to succeed.

โ โ โ โ โ Here is such a good place for someone who loves donair.. Their donairs are so yummy and flavorful ?. Actually they have some kind of platters which can be a good choice for people who are looking for a big meal because they are served with rice and salad. Also they put a pita bread for you too.??

โ โ โ โ โ Great value, giant portions. The hot sauce isn't really spicy but wasn't too concerning as they mentioned it was very mild. We had the lamb platter and was blown away with the size. Very generous portions with two different types of rice. The salad was typical but I thoroughly enjoyed the hummus. We also had a Donair with the half lamb half chicken and ... This isnt much of a complaint but there was too much meat. One portion could easily feed two people for each of these dishes.

โ โ โ โ โ Since changeover from Donair spot this has been a disappointing experience. We usd to be frequent customers of Donair Spot and hoped for continued quality and great taste, together with good value. After three tries we have confirmed that rice is dry and tasteless, meat quantity has been reduced and is dry, tabouli is now big pieces of parsley with no dressing, the salad is dry pieces of cucumber, lettuce and tomato with no dressings, and hummus is a flavourless salt free paste. The spicy, yogurt and creamy sauces for the meat appear about the same.
If you want a better donair or donair platter as we used to get biweekly then go down to the other Donair spot on Willow or if you feel in a healthier and hipster mood go to Superbaba on Main and Broadway.
