Some people in know go here and they say it's a pretty good school with good teachers.

Some of the teachers are nice, but most are just feminists that despise the male gender for no reason

They literally won't answer the phone if you're calling from an international number. God forbid a former student moves, then needs their transcripts

I studied there for a year and the teachers were so kind and the school building is so cool

im sorry but i didn't like that school when i moved onto howe sound it was like heaven i didn't like some of the teachers their, also that they put some teachers who weren't qualified to teach that subject, my dad is a teacher and he was worried about my math and my school, i think you guys should find teachers that are qualified teachers to teach for more intense courses so that we know what were doing for grade 10. but their were a few teachers like mr.Guerin and mme.heilig, mr.borhcert, mr.gendron,mrs.keys, mr.day, mrs.hoskin,. and those people made my day when i went to class with them. I'm sorry if this sounds rude but never out mr.wallin as a math teacher, he would put notes on the board which were in the text book and then he would yell at us and this one time he yelled at this kid saying he should be in a mental hospital, and after he would be finished putting notes on the board he would go and watch a baseball game and not help. i dont we should have this bad of an expirience in middle school, it will make us hate school, no one wants that, so i suggest you find qualified people to teach these subject like, science, socials, math, english.

This school is very much messed up. I’m in grade 9 right now and so far is been a total mess. The past 2 years have been the worst years of my life. The school has very stupid rules, one being That u can’t use your phone at the two different break periods and so on. Most of the teachers yell at you on a daily bases and they also pick at you and tell you what’s wrong with you as in individual. The teachers will yell at you from across the hallways and get very mad for no reason. Also some of the teachers will tell you that you are “restarted” . I don’t like this school but I hope it will change very soon. There are a few teachers that are kind, but I’ve still encountered very rude an unpleasant ones too. I’m not saying that this school is stupid, I’m just saying that that should change some of there rules and be a little bit nicer.

Went here for two years. Starting off with some positives, there's a lot of kind staff and teachers, as well as counsellors that are almost always available. They have quite a few programs for students, most of them being sports clubs. The school has a simple layout and tons of lockers. It has enough capacity for the students and they don't seem to have troubles with making space. They also have purchasable food, including pizza, milk, fruits, etc. The main issues with this school is the students. Students are often reckless and refuse to follow simple rules. I have witnessed students throwing soap dispensers against walls, throwing milk cartons against walls, spitting on the floors, putting water in their cheeks and then spitting on the floors, screaming, shoving people, dropping food against the ground and leaving it there to get stepped on and rot, crawl up on lockers and around walls and also insult teachers for disciplining them. Students also skip pretty much daily. I've also witnessed students from this school vaping and drinking despite being middle schoolers, but that's not necessarily the school's responsibility. Students also take eachother way too seriously and try to start fights on purpose. I haven't had a terrible teacher so far, I didn't enjoy all of their classes, but they were good people overall. I've never seen a supervisor yell, though sometimes they kind of fail to do their jobs at all. They don't have good control on the students and some ignore students breaking rules because they do not want to deal with it. Overall, the school is decent, but nothing special and nothing good. I wouldn't recommend sending your children here, especially if they have anxiety or other mental issues as this school is very overwhelming at times. I have seen other students here succeed, but I don't think a single person in this school likes it.

I know someone who goes there right now and most of the staff is nice but some of the teachers, supervisors and the vice principal are oblivious to the connotations of the words they use. For example when students are misbehaving the teachers are in the right to discipline their students but thats not an excuse to be racist, for example the teachers screamed out at a few students who were talking over the teacher "i don't know in your CULTURE if you guys keep talking when an adult is speaking but in THIS COUNTRY WE DONT DO THAT HERE!" Also the vice principal uses the word "culture" to brush off concerns. A lot of the staff restate what they say to nonwhite international students even if they don't ask for clarification, treating them as if they are not able to comprehend anything.
