2022 - 2023 ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS
Elizabeth Finch School is full in planned classes in Grade 2, 5, 7 and 8 in the Regular program. We will now only accept resident students in Grade 2, 5, 7 and 8 in the Regular program who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
If you are registering for Kindergarten or if you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.
Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2022 (born in 2017) may register in Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year. Click here to view our Welcome to Kinder slide show.

The office is closed in July and early August. The office will re-open to the public starting Monday, August 22, 2022 from 9 am to 3 pm.
First day of school for students in Grades 1 - 9 is Thursday, September 1, 2022.

β β β β β This school ain't it for your children, da curriculum system is fine but a whole lotta teachers stay talking behind students backs. Some teachers are fine, but others are rude and insulting towards your children, specifically jr. high teachers. In elementary, that was the wave cuz the teachers made it fun for everyone, and in general they taught well where everyone could succeed. My fav teacher hands down would be Fix, cuz she was acc deezed and taught me many things. Not to mention, she would always tease me, but I knew it was a joke unlike some teachers. AND JUST BE AWARE, when you get sent down to the office, you aint making it out without a suspension. Very dissapioned, but i'm gonna give 2 stars cuz it ain't that bad of a school.

β β β β β The school isnβt all that bad and the teachers do a good job however the teachers at some point stop caring and usually donβt pay any attention to the students. The education system is fairly good although there was one teacher that hated me for no reason I will not say names but she was rude overall not a bad school

β β β β β Both my step sons attended this school, and now my daughter will be. Its been a great school, and they've had some amazing teachers. I'm sad that all these kids have to post 1 star reviews just because they don't like their teacher there. I'm going to assume its the same kids disrupting the class and being poor students so the teachers have to discipline them....

β β β β β No lunchroom. An Elementary school has more washrooms. Wants too squeeze everyone in. Not good at fundraising (I've seen smaller schools do way better). I'm reviewing this on realistic standards.
You will feel out of place in this school somewhat. Smaller schools take things more personal. I heard the staff gossip a lot. This school could possibly not care about you when there's about 900 other people. The school feels like they want to squeeze you into every space. Has three portables that are frustrating for kids too move out and into the school. I saw a dead rat hanging right outside the portables, terrible! This school is nor committed enough too get animal control too take care of the Coyotes! My parents absolutely hate this school!

β β β β β I am a former graduate of finch and wallahi I went to pick up Damarcus cousins whoβs in grade 4 and as soon as I stepped foot into this school this teacher said leave and wallahi i just wanted to visit my favourite teacher mr cooper, finch doesnβt push β?οΈ no kizzy no cap

β β β β β Nice playground, nature themed...tress, rocks, logs and bugs. Woodchips and rubber, sand in the toddler area. No regular swings, however there are 2 baby swings and 3 discs but good variety of climbing structures & slides. Big field and bmx dirt bath. medium sized trees for a bit of shade. One gazebo. Good number of benches and some picnic tables. No parking lot other than the school's.

β β β β β I've only ever had 1 good teacher here. The rest of the teachers are ignorant and plain rude especially Miss Staples. I guess the school is okay if you just ignore the fact you can't go into the park unless it's 'your turn', stupid sales, and teachers.
