β β β β β We took about 9 hours of dance lessons with Dominic to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. We needed a lot of help! Neither of us are natural dancers, but we felt totally comfortable with Dominic's guidance and instruction. Very quickly, he determined choreography that was appropriate for our skill level and time/ability to practice and prepare. He was a patient teacher when we were slow to learn, but also set realistic expectations and held us accountable for keeping up. We also have to mention that we had a great time learning our dance! We came to look forward to our lessons as fun date nights. It helps that Dominic was kind and affable, and very flexible in his scheduling and approach to teaching.

β β β β β My partner and I had the pleasure of learning our wedding first dance with Dominic Boyer. From the first lesson, we were learning, laughing, and enjoying every moment of Dominic's fun and professional coaching. His patience with two complete beginners to ballroom dance was impressive, and we found ourselves improving over several lessons without even knowing it...magic! By the time our wedding came around, we were well prepared, and performed our dance choreography with smiles on our faces, and to the awe of our guests. I feel like, during these lessons, we ended up learning much more than how to dance! Thank you for what you do and for spreading a little more light in this world, Dominic :)

β β β β β "I am 61 years old, and my partner and I have been attending Dominic's Classes for Cha-Cha for the last 2 months and it is truly marvelous! Not only is he a patient, engaging and truly encouraging teacher, but he has an amazing ability to add the physical movement and the social signaling necessary for a truly fluid partnership dance. He also seems to have eyes in the back of his head! He KNOWS what your steps are without even looking! We truly enjoyed our time and are looking forward to many more classes. His knowledge of music to complement the dance experience is also an amazing gift. I cannot recommend him more highly. He is the best!"

β β β β β Had the pleasure of working with Dominic Boyer for our first dance prior to our wedding! If youβre looking for an experienced and talented individual to learn from, thereβs no one better! Not only is he conveniently located downtown vancouver but he has a very flexible schedule that caters to your needs. From initially reaching out to him with a couple songs ideas to showing him a video of a Swing dance that we wanted to learn, we decided to try out a class with him. We had so much fun and it was clear that he is knowledgeable on dozens and dozens of styles of dance. Within 5 lessons we grasped enough of the techniques and movements to execute a wonderful first dance in the Swing style to Bill Haley and The Comets track- Rock around the Clock! We highly recommend Dominic to anyone looking for instructions on learning new dances to those looking to upgrade their dance skills to even choreographing your first dance at your wedding!
