Dollarama

Nice price and good stuff. I just think the gardening section has less items than other Dollarama stores. Please be beware that their system cannot handle refunds.

It's a good dollar store. It is quite large and has thing s ranging from craft, to hardware, to baking, to snacks. I do wish it had a small refrigeration section as it would be so useful. Overall a good place for soemthing cheap.

Clean and well maintain store; associates were very helpful and the cashier was quick and courteous

I only needed a couple of items and happy that was the case. This was my 1st time at this location. It was very crowded when I went. When in line to pay i had to speak up and ask the lone cashier to please call for backup. Thankfully a 2nd staff came and the line sped right through.

Dollarama is more expensive then Walmart. Stock were low n prices were high. For example a toothpaste that you can buy in Walmart for 87 cent Dollarama had it for 3$ something. Please compare prices before spending it. Seems like new owners recently took over. Customer service and cleanliness was great but they need to stock lot of stuff. Thank you.

It was actually great Dollar Store here. They do not allowed to many people going in at one time. I did wait a bit before I could get into the store. I found Christmas light and some Christmas ornaments that other Dollarama doesn't have. it has a lot of parking. the store is clean. Yesterday I went they had three cashiers. there wasn't much wait time. I definitely recommend this Dollarama

This location is always a mess. The restock inventory is often piled in the aisles, sometimes so high, I'm worried it's going to fall on a child. The staff is also rude and lineups are so long because even if there is a long lineup, the staff won't help the one cashier. Yesterday, I purchased a few items. The one cashier working scanned in all my items without even acknowledging me. But okay, no problem, maybe he's having a long day, we've all those. As I left, I realized that I was overcharged on 3 out of my 8 items. I stood back in line for another 10 minutes and informed the cashier. "Do you want to pick something else in the store? "No, I'd like the difference back in cash" He left me without saying anything and made a call then just left me standing there. After another 10 minutes, someone came and asked the cashier what happened. She never even looked up at me or said a thing, just walked to another cash. So....am I supposed to follow her? What is happening here? I did and she said "what's wrong". So I go ahead and explain the situation and she looks at the receipt. "You have 3 of the $2. So two items were the wrong price" "Um no, I have 4 items for $2...you can see on the receipt" "I count 3!!!" "...1...2...3.....and....4" "Oh. 4. Fine. So what do you want??" "I want the difference back because the store overcharged me" Then she proceeds to ruffle through my purchase counting items like I stole something or made this whole thing up. Like listen lady...I wish I had the time to concoct such a story and waste now 20 minutes of my time to get back a few dollars..... But who is the annoyed one here....her. Exasperated, she finally gives me the difference, half muttering something under her breath. Finally, I say "you know that it's the stores fault here, right? The cashier didn't bother to ring in the items individually and assumed they were all the same." And even more anger than before, she throws the money at me and says "I gave you the difference didn't I??" - yes. lady, thank you for doing me a favour and returning the money that your store overcharged me.
