Doggie Detailing

I own a breed that needs constant grooming. A bouvier, he also has separation anxiety and doesn’t do well when I am not there. I was searching for a place that helps My dog be himself for a long time, cue doggy detailing. We’ve been to many groomers, but Kelsey is our absolute favourite. Or I should say my dogs favourite. They are all excellent at doggy detailing, but Kelsey is the one teddy has chosen over and over. She is so kind and always has feedback to help me, help him. She also gives him the best haircut I’ve found anywhere. Thank you Kelsey for helping us make it a lot easier on grooming days. The stress is non existent now when I know he’s in good hands.

They are the best! I have been taking my dog there for 10 yrs and she is always beautifully groomed. They are so kind , friendly and professional, great bunch of ladies .

5 stars! The staff are incredibly friendly, always go above and beyond with my dog who is Never afraid to go back, Nova loves going to the spa. They provide exceptional services at outstanding prices. I pay $40 less for a groom here than where we used to live with more services and more friendly staff. Thank yoi for taking such wonderful care of my big floof!

I have been to this business 3 times now. After reading these reviews I decided I wanted to share my experiences. Bella is a 6 year old, black shepherd who has had no experience at groomers or nail cutting anywhere other than the vet. She is also nervous and does not like other dogs. After my vet stopped nail cutting and recommended this shop I called them. I explained my concerns, Bellas dislike of dogs and just her nerves overall. The vet experience was never fun - they said she would do well but she never liked going, they would have to drag her away from me. We booked our first appointment in the fall for her nails, booked in with Heather. I was happy the owner would take her just depending on how it would go. I walked in first told them I was here they made sure the other dogs were gone and I brought Bella in. Bella walked right to Heather and they walked right through into the other room. I couldnt believe how comfortable Bella seemed! No hesitation! Amazing environment and reading right off the bat! I waited outside and Heather brought her out about 10minutes later. I was so overjoyed with the nail cut. Everything! It was easily the best nail trim we had ever had she even dremeled the nails. They were the shortest I had ever had them and the smoothest. Bellas nails are very thick and prone to cracking and splitting so the dremel was a great addition that I wasnt sure we would get with Bellas nerves! I was so thankful Heather gave it a try. Bella had another nail appointment with Heather in January 2022 and all I can say is repeat everything above. It was a very positive experience. We decided that I wanted to try a groom for Bella. She has had baths before but nothing extensive or thorough. Just baths at home or the pet hosers. I discussed booking with Heather and another lady (Im sorry I am unsure of her name), we planned out the best time for Bella to give her her best shot at a bath/groom experience. To see how it would go. A slower day or timeframe. This experience in itself was positive. I was very thankful we found a good timeslot and they took the time to see what we could plan. Today (February 8th) I dropped Bella off for her groom. They got the dogs away as usual and I brought her in. This would also be only the 2nd time I have left her anywhere with the first being her spay at the vet 5 years ago. It was a new experience for both of us. After about an hour they told me she was ready and I headed over. There is not enough words to discuss my comfort level, or how overjoyed I am with how this went. The groom I had selected was a bit much for Bella so they dropped us down a level, based on what we were getting. Stephanie came out and discussed with me what she did do  how everything went and that Bella was great. She went and got Bella and my dog was a happy one. She came flying out good to go smelling fresh! Muzzle off without a care in the world. Throughout today I have kept noticing different things - shiny, smooth, a lot of her loose hair gone. Her nails trimmed up and paw pads smooth. This may seem very thorough but I have read many of these reviews and I hope to give as much of the story as I can. Its not always easy having a nervous dog, and I know as owners our nerves dont help them! But Heather and her team give the dog their best shot! I may only have 3 experiences at this business so far... but it is enough to know that their outlook is fair and logical. For a small town business I am so grateful for the time, the care, the effort - the conversations I have had over these learning experiences and that I will have. It IS and continues to be about the dog and the staff and I appreciate it all. We will be going back.

I am blessed to get my standard poodle groomed at Doggie detailing ! The owner and staff are all incredible. The first day that I entered the salon my puppy and I were met by the most beautiful groomed poodles I have ever seen in my life. It instantly makes you more comfortable when all the staff have fur babies at work with them !! I knew then, that this was going to be the place that could take care of all his grooming needs. Although my little guy can be quite the handful (understatement) Fiona is a professional and shows way more patience than I ever could . The staff is friendly, the price is right and the store is impeccably clean and upscale. Do not hesitate to bring your pets here . Pierre always looks so perfect when he’s done his spa day.

100% recommend doggie detailing. Heather and her staff are professional, caring and incredibly helpful. I'm always pleased with how my boy looks when I pick him up especially as he can be a handful of a boy and is opinionated. I really appreciate that they are always willing to spread knowledge on how to help care for my dogs coat at home in-between visits.
