★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to let the dog run free, get in a good long walk with many trails and paths to chart your own course, and reconnect with nature. Spring time is a little bit tricky navigating the potholes in the parking lot and the mud bogs along the trails but as long as your prepared for the fact that you and your dog will come away from there with a few extra layers of nature's bounty on you, you will thoroughly enjoy the park.
