I love that people go there to hang out and read. I DO NOT LOVE THAT OTHER PEOPLE LEAVE DOG POOP IN THE GRASS!
M	Mark Stark on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the aftermath of the Iveson-McKeen concrete jungle era this little park refuge is something even though the core could use a lot more green space. My dog does love coming to the off-leash enclosed park which during the 4:30-7pm weekday hours can see quite a turnout. Usually a great vibe there with the dogs running and playing. The occasional scuffle. Nice little water fountain and community garden as part of the area as well.

Center stage of the small-footprint Alex Decoteau Park is a red curved statue, eastwards facing with flattering shaped arms signalling welcome to park guests
J	James Gully007 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an ok park: a small enclosure with turf and no trees. It's a good space to socialize without distractions. I think its great there's an off-leash park right downtown and my puppy had a good play session this morning.

It includes a dog park so it’s good for those who have a dog. There is lots of seating and small fountain. It’s named after the first idigenous police officer in Canada and was also a famous long distance runner. I’ve been to this park a few times and have always enjoyed it.

My only improvements would be to have some tap water at the fence for the dogs and some de-icing maintenance in the winter time. Other than that it’s perfect!
