DJ's Calgary Towing

DJs Towing is amazing. Positive attitude. Prompt and reliable service. Our car was at the Northstar Ford dealer for a quick recall and our brake line "coincidentally" broke while at their shop. We called DJs towing and had our car towed to our trusted mechanic within 2 hours. It turned out to be a painful fight with the dealer because they had "lost" our broken parts that were not easily replaceable. Derek saved us more than he knows. Three weeks later, we asked for a receipt for insurance purposes and he promptly provided it. Won't hesitate to use or recommend DJs Towing.

Derrick came to my rescue when my car stalled in the middle of an intersection on MacLeod Trail. He arrived when he said he would, and I felt he adhered to the proper safety protocols with respect to securing my vehicle on his flatbed. He also triaged the mechanical issue with my car and got it running again, although I still wanted it checked by the dealership; he agreed. Once my car was delivered to the dealership he also offered to drive me to the local vehicle rental outlet and asked me to let him know what the problem was with my car. He was very kind and I felt like he cared about me and my car.

Super service, and a super guy! Needed a tow for my F150 out to Airdrie where my mechanic is and wasn't able to go with him due to work. Took great care in loading it onto his flatbed and got it out there safe and sound. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Thanks for the great service Derrick!

Great service, Derek was super friendly, and offered very reasonable rates. He gave a good time-frame on when he'd be arriving, as well as took great care loading my car on his flatbed. If I ever need towing service again (although I hope I don't), I wouldn't hesitate to call DJ's Towing again. Highly recommended!

I’ve had them tow my vehicle a few times before, and they’re the only ones that I trust fully with my car, and I’m sure picky. If you have a lowered car or expensive wheels that cannot be dinged! Anything that can make towing hard, They sure know how to handle it. Absolutely amazing service and amazing people running the whole thing. Awesome prices as well, quick service and always a quick reply! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Derrick was amazing and I had the best towing experience and service ever! Luckily I found him from this site on the internet and saw he had 5 stars from everybody here. So I called him and he arrived at my stalled vehicle a short time later. I asked him to tow my vehicle to the Nissan dealership across the city and from there I was going to schedule an appointment to have my battery, or worse, my alternator replaced as my battery was fairly new from Nissan, but the car wouldn’t start. I anticipated spending quite a bit of money and was very stressed about this. Derrick was really friendly and reassuring and offered to do a quick assessment of my engine to save me unnecessary expenses at the dealership. So he used his high powered battery pack and instantly boosted and started the battery of my dead vehicle! But after a minute the engine would shut off! We tried again and the same thing happened. He assessed that it was a faulty battery I had and not the alternator, and could replace it with a gently used one in 1 hour instead of dropping it off at the dealership! I happily agreed and 1 hour later, he had a working battery in my car and the engine working perfectly without having to spend massive amounts of money and time replacing an alternator or having to pay for a dealership’s annoying shop supplies, labour, service and all the other hassles they charge. I also wanted to let everyone know how happy I was about his service and very reasonable pricing as I had the same car towed about 6 yrs ago for some different engine trouble and I regrettably called City Wide Towing who charged me double of what Derrick charged and were very verbally aggressive and threatening to me while I was helplessly stuck on the side of the road! So definitely use Derrick for any type of towing needs!

Derrick is THE man!! He and his assistant (if I remember correctly, his name was Mike) showed up to the property I needed to have my car towed from on time. They were fair and reasonable in the charge for service. They made simple, quick work of getting my car on the flat bed while being careful with it and treating it like it was their own. When we got to my house, they went the extra mile and backed the rig into the mouth of the garage to unload the dead car. They made it look like child's play, again quick and easy. I was impressed with the service to say the least and will absolutely recommend anyone that needs a tow for any reason to call up Derrick.

If you need a car towed, this is the place to call. I couldn’t be happier with the excellent service I received from Derrick. Derrick arrived exactly on time and went above and beyond trying to help. Even though I only called for a tow, Derrick tried to boost the car’s battery just in case it worked. After an unsuccessful boost attempt, Derrick was also able to find a tow hook for my car (which I didn’t have) with him and got it towed very easily and quickly. Pricing for service is very fair too. Highly recommended!!
