★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We're lucky in Victoria to have so many options for really great coffee. Discovery is one of the best. The Discovery street location has an additional cozy space next door to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in a comfy chair.
Don't miss out on the Yonnie's doughnuts. They are not cake donuts and man they're tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely disappointed with their immoral decision to ask Vax pass to sit inside when that is not even required by P Health Officer. This particular so-called vaccine does not reduce any viral transmission risk to others. Therefore, it is not protecting others at all.
It is publicly stated so in peer reviewed papers, CDC, Dr.Fauci the list goes on... So you simply decided to just decided to discriminate people non-health safety issue. I try my best to support any local business all the time. But not Discovery coffee. DO NOT SUPPORT a local business who act just like any other mega corporate scums.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think I just had the perfect nitro cold brew for the first time. The nitrogen in their coffee was strong and smooth in a way I had never felt before, in spite of countless coffee roasters/shops I have visited in megacities. Also, the affecting ambience reminded me of the one I expected Stumptown Coffee to be before visiting Stumptown. This place is a truly wonderful place to go to have coffee whether you are a visitor or a resident.

I was so used to window service, and having everything displayed for sidewalk viewing, I almost cried out in anguish when I thought they might be closed. But, great news after all!
Discovery continues to hold its own in a competitive Victoria coffee bar scene. That says a lot!
Great coffee, top notch batistas and with donuts too die for.
Tried the coffee glazed for the first time. Definitely won't be the last. It was awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't like coffee, I'm a tea girl, but I really actually like Discovery coffee! The smell wafting out of the cafe is quite divine. And paired with a yonnis donut (gf chocolate honey crueller, or earl grey, mmmmm) is a special treat.

Seriously, if you love coffee, you need to try this place out. Super friendly staff. Fresh donuts being made right next door. Open early even on Sundays.
It's hard not to fall in love with Discovery Coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a london fog from them today, paid $6 for a product that tastes like soap and has zero vanilla flavour! Terrible drink, had to throw it out. Took some time for the staff to serve me initially as well- busy with the record player and didn’t notice me come in. Look at the photo, you can see the rainbow colour in the bubbles that indicate soap. NEVER AGAIN!!
