I like the seafood dimsum or shrimp, and fried shrimp dumplings.

My family and I waited patiently for one and a half hours. When we were seated they made us wait even longer for food. There was also a lot of food delivery services waiting even though it was Mother's Day. They had an unorganized system of dealing with their customers and food delivery services. We ended up not getting anything and leaving because we wouldn't wait for who knows how long until they would deliver our food.

This place is next level bad. Every aspect of it is disgusting: - Food is underdone and is literally the worst that I’ve ever had in my entire life. Pizza pops would look and taste like high end cuisine if put side-by-side. - Water was served to us in cups with lipstick and dried food on the sides. The waiters didn’t care. There was no apology. - Speaking of the waiters, the few that we dealt with tonight were absolutely rude and miserable. - The walls are dirty and haven’t seen a coat of paint in a long, LONG time. - We were served food, then desert, then the rest of our food came out (in a bag and undercooked). - The washrooms look like something that you would expect at a Main Street dive bar. - Worst restaurant experience of my entire life, to the point where I feel insulted by how bad it was. TLDR: Dim Sung Garden is beyond dirty and disgusting. Don’t ever waste your time and money there.

It was our first time trying at dim sum garden the food was okay but the service was very bad - we felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable - Went to ask for spoons was told just wait for second didn’t even look at us I was just standing there and came back to my table later on was delivered by another girl. - we had to ask for condiments but was very uncomfortable to ask since they barely served us. It was like throwing the food at our table. - it was not busy but the server literally rushed our table and just gave us the menu and threw the napkins at the table. - At this point we wanted to go but still sat down thinking it would be rude to leave . - she barely even looked or asked anything to our table and left us unattended utill we asked . IF You see the curly hair girl don’t even expect a smile or good service!!! Never going back again !!

The service has really gone downhill the last 2 times I went. Staff seemed cranky when asked to explain the dishes by some of the newbies. One waitress snipped something under her breath when asked for the red vinegar the pork dumplings traditionally come with, suggesting we could just use the soya sauce. Then she brought one teeny dish. There were 2 tabled of us and we couldn't believe how the prices went up and differed so much from a previous visit just a few weeks ago.

I used to come here all the time and today was really awful experience. Servers were all in a rush because of tons of mobile orders. I feel like the quality of dine in went down hill. One of the people in our party that’s never been, ordered a ton of items due to miscommunication with the server. The miscommunication brought our bill to 700 dollars. When we asked for the food to stop coming because it was a mistake they refused to remove it from the bill because they already cooked it. The worst part of it is they never really even gave us the food that they had said was cooked, until we mentioned it was on the bill but not in the table. Felt robbed. Also for the communication part, don’t expect much. If you just want to sit and have food handed to you without any requests then go for it. But otherwise any other ask feels like it’s too much. Because I feel like I’m a secondary customer and their mobile orders come first.

This has been my go to place for dim sum for as long as I can remember. Especially when were located on Rupert St. Since the pandemic, we’ve used skip the dishes for this place countless times. Delivery is free for over $20. Food is still fresh when delivered. I just gave a 4 star because there are times that an item might be missing in my order and I just get a refund for it. Refunds are great but most of the time, I’d want the food and not a refund.

Ordered take during CNY week, other places were closed so we tried Dim Sum Garden. Overall the food is good and is your typical winnipeg-chinese food, not bad but not authentic either. We enjoyed the deluxe shrimp dumpling and the Szechuan hotpot dish and would highly recommend it. The sweet and sour intestines were funky and were accompanied with pineapples but no sauce? had it before from other chinese restaurants but was not as smelly as these. The pork bao was mostly bread, the siu mai and fried dumpling were ok, Har gow would have been better if the skin was thin, but the chilli sauce was very good and definitely saved this meal!
