In my hometown in Alberta there's only one place to get filament, and they only carry two colors! Found these folks late one night thinking about ordering a fair amount of Filament from MatterHackers.com and then realized the exchange. DigitMakers hasn't let me down yet plus somehow, Amazon can't touch your prices. Everytime i come for filament it's like christmas and i get what i desire.

My experience was excellent, I had a few questions so I called the person that I talked to wasa pleasure to talk to, he was very knowledgeable and professional and had all the answers to my questions. After receiving all the answers I made a purchase at their online store with the delivery to a different province received the package securely packed and an damaged. I purchased Prusa Kit and my main fear was to purchase a knockoff instead of genuine Prusa. And it was a real Prusa from Joseph Prusa from the Czech Republic. I am very satisfied with my experience. I found prices in this store very competitive and good. Will be definitely buying here again. Thank you

I gave good thought about this review and let my thoughts ruminate for a few days to make sure it was level headed and fair and so this review is with consideration. I recently purchased an E3D Hemera from DigitalMakers. With it I purchased a plated copper E3D Volcano hot block and in a similar timeframe an E3D Volcano nozzle X. When my Hemera arrived it was suspiciously pre ripped open with the V6 components missing (including the heat break meaning it was unusable). Obviously I have no way of knowing why exactly the exact parts I bought upgrades for from them were missing from my Hemera, but that was what happened . I obviously have no evidence to say that the components were ripped out because someone assumed I wouldn't need them due to the upgrades purchased at the same time and thought they could just take them out of my box, but I will admit that thought crossed my mind as I waited for a replacement. As I was quite miffed as I had a free weekend to assemble and deal with printer things, I promptly contacted support with photos of the box contents and after asking me if I wanted to drive an hour each way for a return I asked for a shipping label which they provided. At this point communication was amicable from both sides (and I want to emphasize, always remained amicable from me) To their credit, they did provide the shipping label... something I consider baseline. Further to their credit they said they would ship out the new Hemera (Hopefully unopened and parts in tact) as soon as possible. Unfortunately this "as soon as possible" actually meant after the somewhat rude and accusatory staff member called to ensure that I had actually shipped back the old Hemera as the tracking for whatever reason did not update until 2 days after I shipped it over the weekend just as they requested. I think they asked me 3 times in the call whether or not I shipped it back, and I explained that I did, and already have a shipping receipt, where they responded by telling me that the tracking hadn't shown that yet. I don't know why they would think a customer who had previously spent hundreds of dollars with them and likely would spend increasing amounts as time went on (and probably now wont in the future) would lie about shipping a return, but apparently that's what the representative who called me thought and to such a degree they felt the need to ask thrice in a quite accusatory tone I felt. Due to this suspicion, I assume, the new Hemera only ended up shipping at the end of the day, with UPS standard (slower than the usual GLS shipping) and arrived Wednesday of that week. Now this Hemera ended up having minor cosmetic damage (I assume from the factory) that E3D recommended I contact Digital Makers about again to get a different one if it bothered me, but after dealing with that return experience the first time, I figured I'd cut my losses and just not continue to deal with them. My prior experiences with this company had been positive and I had previously recommended friends buy their in house filaments in particular, but after this I'm not sure I will recommend or buy from their store again. To be perfectly clear my main issues are as followed. Primarily, it irked me that the representative who called me was accusatory in tone to a repeat customer about something trivial. What makes this more bothersome is that I don't know why they would call given I had already emailed them already confirming that I had shipped it as they requested over the weekend. Secondly it bothered me that I received an open box with missing components in the first place. Especially with the exact contents that were missing. Hopefully they fix this in the future Included as photos are the tracking page (no sensitive details) showing that I shipped it as requested, on the weekend, and the minor cosmetic damage on the new Hemera (Small factory defect).

My experience have always been great, prices are reasonable and minimum purchase for free shipping. They are knowledgeable when I purchased the BLtouch sensor, they asked if I already have the proper length of wire. I was already prepared and had done my research. I do appreciate that they asked since it seems a lot of people have no clue what they are doing, and likes to complaint. Filaments react differently depending on if you store them properly in dry box and knowing to dry them with dehydrator when moisture is absorbed. Some of the bad reviews seems unfair. I donโ€™t get paid for this review but would like to give an honest review.

Donโ€™t waste your time and money here. First time purchase here, bought 5 of the same filament that you can put on a reusable spool. The first roll come tangled, trying to return the rest. They first blame I didnโ€™t put it onto the spool correctly while they didnโ€™t even know which side of the spool is right themselves, after I point that out, they accuse that I must cut the tape before put on the spool thus why itโ€™s tangled. Anyway, they believe their filament must have no issues, if there is issue, it must be my fault. Besides that, the filament also come much more moist than I got from other places, same brand, same print and print setting, but string like crazy compare to the ones I got from other places. I have already mentioned in my previous email at 17:49 to ask how to return the 4 unused spools. But obviously people there just donโ€™t read. Even after I post the review, they are still trying to say I want to return an almost finished tangled spool in their latest email. Sorry itโ€™s my fault wasting my time trying to fix a tangled spool, sorry I only took a picture because it end up tangling all the way to the end of the spool, and sorry I didnโ€™t repeat everything I said and attach every picture I took in every email. And sorry, Iโ€™m do not recommend this place.
