I've been coming here a long time and it's always been great...until COVID. I'm sure they're doing their best, but BE WARNED...they don't take cash, their tool selection is a fraction of what it was, and in my experience they never answer the phone. I hope it gets better soon.

Review is solely about customer service , not the items they have at the shop. First off, horrible office hours, basically have to take time off work each time i need to go there and unfortunately, it's often as i have a lot of DeWalt tools. Twice I had to deal with DeWalt from the states instead because the service at this store was horrible, both onsite, time waiting and refusal to change warranty parts. They lost some of my parts on an item i dropped off for a warranty call and actually told me i had to pay to replace the parts that went missing. Twice i was put on hold and hung up on while waiting (classic maneuver when they don't know where to find the answer). I own a work shop with 95% DeWalt tools, i have a very large investment in their items, but this service store is the sole reason why I keep telling myself to stop buying DeWalt. Very unfortunate, a company is only as good as the costumer service they offer.

*** update *** ok I’ve updated the status of my review. After I didn’t get to chat with someone I was able to bring my level to the store. They took it in and after some time they replaced the unit under warranty. They stand behind their product and although it took more time than I would have liked it all worked out in the end. I bought a unit, the unit didn’t work, took unit to Dewalt, Dewalt fixed / replaced unit. Faith is restored. *** original post *** Service??? What service??? I've tried to call and call and call and no answers. Try to go to their website and you go to a Dewalt's default USA site. I am trying to have a laser level that has never worked from day 1 and now it wont turn on at all. I usually love, defend and support Dewalt. But lately I am feeling Dewalt is on a fine line with me right now and I am about to switch from to another brand who has better customer service and product. Currently, I am getting the run around for a warranty work / repair. Call the number they say, go to this site, oh wait thats for USA customers not Canadian ones, oh sorry now Go to this factory service site on Blackwell Street, now wait they do not answer their phone so now I have drive an hour to their site to see what I have to do if anything. Straight up BS support if you ask me.

Dewalt has been my go-to equipment and accessories supplier since I started my lawn and gardening business 13 years ago, and I honestly can't remember a time when I haven't received top-notch products or service. While their hours can admittedly be a little tricky at times (I still wish they were open on a Saturday, at least for a half day), everyone does need their break. I wanted to especially commend the team this time around, particularly Jessi, with whom I couldn't be more grateful for helping me out during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to all hell breaking loose in the world, I had placed a large order to be shipped to the service centre, for pick-up at the end of March/start of April. I was out of the country at this time, yet was reassured by Jessi that I would still receive my order after closures everywhere started happening. Every week via e-mail, Jessi kept me in the loop with my order's status as well as the modified store hours and procedures that the store had to undertake to adhere to daily changing government regulations. When I managed to get back home, my order was kindly stored longer than usual during my mandatory 14-day self-quarantine, and I finally picked everything up yesterday. Jessi and the team handled my order with extra care by taking payment over the phone when I arrived, packaged everything up nicely to protect them from the elements, and respected all social distancing rules by placing my order outside for me to safely pick up. Thank you Jessi and Dewalt! You continue to be the lifeline for my business when I need it, even during these crazy times! :)

Part on my table saw broke. Started looking online for replacement. Read the reviews here and thought I'd look elsewhere first. Wasn't getting far and most sources were in the states with prices over $100 plus, by the time it might get here. SO... I gave This place a call. Someone answered on the second ring, knew the part I needed, $45, not in stock but could ship direct from warehouse for flat $25 fee. I had the part in my shop in 2 days. SO...I'd have to say my experience was better than expected, hence the 5 Stars! Thanks guys.

Walked through the door at 359 to find out they close at 4, and the employee tells me he has already closed his register and can't serve me. Drove 30 minutes for nothing, great customer service. To add to them telling me they can't repair my radio which is supposed to be covered, and that I can buy a different radio at a discounted cost, and the new radio they offer doesn't even charge the batteries.. Thanks for nothing

Repair and sale of refurbished tools at discounted prices with a 6 month warranty! They offer several commercial grade tools that have been refurbished and look like they're brand new. Jessy was extremely helpful, and when there was a price discrepancy between the shelf sticker and their system he quickly reached out to head office and his manager to resolve the issue. Highly recommend dropping by before you go to the big stores.
