At DermaLux Medical Aesthetics we have been closely monitoring the Covid-19 pandemic and we would like to provide you with an update on our commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of our clients and employees. The health and safety of our clients and employees is our number one priority. We are following the lead of Canadian public health authorities and Alberta Health Services to guide the health and safety of our everyday operations. 

First and foremost, I want to assure our clients that we have taken all appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our employees and clients. While the Public Health Agency of Canada has assessed the current public health risk associated with corona virus as low, we continue to closely monitor all developments. 

At DermaLux Medical Aesthetics we offer beauty and well-being services that require strict sanitization and sterilization techniques. The cleanliness of our spa and infection control procedures have always been our top priority. In addition to our everyday strict standards in hygiene, sanitation, and sterilization we have implemented additional measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and employees including the following:

• Enhanced cleaning protocols with particular focus on high contact areas, equipment, and work stations.

• Employees will take precautionary measures such as wearing an N95 mask and surgical mask that will be replaced after every client.

• Employees are required to wash and sanitize their hands before and after every service and wear gloves to perform any service.

• All employees will follow the directives from Public Health Authorities in respect to testing, treatment, and self-isolation of a staff member should they show symptoms of Covid-19.

• Hand sanitization is provided for all guests as well as surgical masks free of charge.

• We ask clients to arrive five minutes before their scheduled appointment.

• We are asking our clients to attend appointments unaccompanied, no one is permitted to wait in the waiting area while a client is receiving treatments.

• All appointments will be staggered to enable social distancing in high traffic areas such as the waiting room and to provide enough time to sanitize all surfaces and equipment.

• We will only be accepting appointments online or by phone, we will not provide walk-in services.

To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is experiencing symptoms to refrain from visiting us so that together we can ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. We will once again continue to provide services to our guests and we are committed to monitoring this situation closely. We will share ongoing updated information as needed in regard to any changes in operations.
