At the recommendations of several stores in Carrefour Laval, I brought them my leather jacket to replacing the lining, and a zipper. I was taken for one hell of a ride. Original date it'd be ready, October 31st. I just got it back today. (November 18th) I told them several times not to remove an inner zipper because I needed it to hook up my winter liner. I even gave them that liner so they could replace the old one correctly. They removed that zipper. Just a heads up no one speaks a LICK of English there despite them being in a mall where countless customers speak this little known language. Just in case you're wondering what they charged me for this "great" service. $292, and I had to pay up front because of how large a job it was. I wish Google Map had a negative star rating, since I will NEVER do business with them. I would encourage anyone reading this to consider the facts I presented before doing business with them.

Every time I buy new clothes there is a big chance that I get them altered I’m short and thin and I am very picky on the fit of my clothes. I trust this place 100% to get all my alterations done it’s been years. Thank you Jacky for the wonderful work ! I strongly recommend Nagham

I was looking for a convenient tailor. After a quick Google search, two came up that were near my house, both in Carrefour Laval. One of them is Stitch-it and the other, De Fil en Aiguille, I have long heard of Stitch-it but had never heard of DFA. I went to both locations, and asked for the prices. DFA had better prices, so I chose to go ahead and give them a try. The decor is very nice, I really liked the changing rooms and the color scheme. The service is top notch. The lady who helped me was very friendly and courteous, with class. I brought my suit in for adjustments, I had a good idea of what kind of work that needed to be done and what are the trends. I figured that I could shorten the jacket sleeve a bit and of course, hem the pants. So when the nice lady saw the suit, she advised me against shortening the sleeves of the jackets because the original length is perfect for me. She said that where the sleeve ends is timeless, it is fashionable now to have more cuff exposed, but the timeless trend is to have it the way it was. I agreed because I was fully aware of the different school of thinking about sleeve lengths. She said that I should only hem the pants because the jackets fits perfectly. I am glad that the tailor gave good advise and honest opinions, it goes a long way in keeping me as a returning customer, I have got a full closet of clothes that needs touch ups here and there.

I had my engagement and wedding dress altered. They were by far the most competitive price I got and they were able to accommodate me even tho I was last minute. I recommend them everyone and what’s most important is that the work is professionally done!

I went to this place at first because the mall's hours made their business very accessible. It felt, like others have said, that I was disturbing their employees. Every time I went they had to look up the price for basic items such as dress pants. They do business with a supplier for the dry cleaning. Said supplier has no respect for your clothes such as stapling through fabric, pressing not respecting the lines, etc. An expensive rush job and all they would do when you complained was to say "I can't do anything for you, ask us to put a note next time you bring something in for dry cleaning". I'm sorry, but no. I should not have to start enumerating the basic things they should get right, even less so every single time.

I was looking for a tailoring service close to my house, so I went there. The quality of the customer service is not good. It feels like I was bothering the employees. I prices are quite steep. I had a dress adjusted there and it was not properly done the first time. They said they would fix it. When I went back to pick it up, it was still not properly done, but I needed the dress so I could not have it fixed for a third time. The lady did not even ask me if everything was ok with the dress and did not even offer me a bag to put the dress in.

OVERPRICED, RUINED and STAINED DRESS. Do not go here! I never write negative reviews but the stress I underwent at this facility drop me to warn others. Extremely overpriced and ruined my dress. I was charged 195$ tax in for alterations on a prom dress - this included 80$ to hem 1inch off PLUS 100$ to take in the side. RIDICULOUS, but I was in need of a tailor. The dress was a simple polyester material and I was definitely OVERCHARGED. The dress was RUINED and STAINED when I went to pick it up, what was described to me as a simple fix resulted in uneven hems and bulging fabric. I was horrified when I picked it up and spent 3 hours convincing the seamstress that it was not brought in this way. I went back the next day, when I was told the manager would be there, HE WAS NOT THERE. The staff was refusing to call the manager so I could speak to him. Finally when I did he was extremely condescending and could not care less about my issue. I had to ask my father to speak to him on the phone in order to receive some amount of respect. All in all, the establishment is ripping people off.
