โ โ โ โ โ One star is not for the tea which l really enjoy drinking but was for service. Went in yesterday (Monday) to purchase $15.00 in tea for myself. When l went to pay with cash advised that they only excepted debit. That was not the way l was prepared to pay on that day. I did not see this posted anywhere. Left without my tea.

โ โ โ โ โ Really in happy that Davidโs Tea is no longer accepting cash!!!!!!!!!!! Employee assured me that it was all completely legal - however, cash is legal tender and is a hot commodity. It should be accepted.

Seemed my entering the store was interrupting the staff conversation... actually it didn't because they ignored me.
Finally when several others came in they decided to say hello. Not friendly, not helpful.

โ โ โ โ โ Those workers are horrible. I could not shop in peace. Brought my 10 year old daughter to get a cup and one of the worker came right beside me thinking we are stealing. 30 bucks may be 2 hours for her. While its peanut for me who is a nurse. She was opening cups beside me ect. Just weired things.... this is what makes me angry.

โ โ โ โ โ What i would like to know is why am I not able to pay with cash? Basically all I had on me was cash and I was in a bit of a hurry, and I was blindsided when I went to a store that was completely out of my way. I'm sorry but there are safe ways to handle cash, gloves can be worn, tongs can be used if need be. The newer bills are washable with soap and water. If choosing to remain cashless, I'm sorry to say but I will not be back. Which sucks because I enjoyed some of your products.

โ โ โ โ โ I was there May 17 2022 and ordered my drink and the girl who served me was super nice. I went to pay and she said "we actually don't accept cash"
Hey David's Tea cash is STILL valid currency.
I will never step foot back in a David's Tea ever again. It's really too bad your staff have to turn away paying customers if they want to pay in cash...I did have a card to pay with but that's not the point here.

โ โ โ โ โ Came in today, Feb.03.2022, and the lady working (tan, light brownish hair?) Was so sweet, and helpful! Great recommendations. I purchased the sweet potato recommendation and holy S H I T, i'm obsessed. Cant wait to come back for more.
I really enjoy this shop, hopefully they can get more stock in on certain items !!! :)
