They look to be a little bit more rough on English person tho from what I saw either from the opinion on google than my experience there.Also, I felt pushed to guarantee that i'll buy there if i get the appointment.

โ โ โ โ โ Refused to give me an appointment to get my eyes checked because I wanted a copy of my prescription. I was told on the phone " we don't have any optometrist available for you here" when I know the man I spoke with WAS the optometrist..so rude..go elsewhere!

โ โ โ โ โ The entire staff is very friendly. And they are not money grubbers. After eye exam, was told I do not need new glasses. Honesty in this day and age is a rarity and very appreciated. A+

โ โ โ โ โ They insulted me by saying I could not come by for yearly checkups as I requested because I was not a client !However did get a checkup and a prescription for glasses and thought I was a client in their business, so I offered to make payments before receiving glasses so I could pay the glasses on a low pension and he flatly refused and even took the time to give me a dirty look. I do not get it..was he right or just didn't like poor English speaking ghost clients?? Bad business practices and bad manners. Do not worry I will not be back. I will let my city councilor know what happens at that place. He even took the time to give me a dirty look sideways before I left near tears feeling broken because I was not able to pay like they wanted. Guessing Verdun is not just gentrified it has a "you not in my caste " kind of feel to it because of people like them. Got my glasses from somewhere else using the prescription this place gave me that was paid by the Quebec government and our taxes and the prescription is terrible and not sure he even cared about the correct prescription, They just wanted me out of there because I had no money at the time. My glasses are not good and it will be checked.

โ โ โ โ โ Accused me of not having confirmed my appointment (which was untrue - i left a VM telling them that I would be present). When i went for my appointment they told me I would have to wait since I hadn't confirmed (argh...). In the end they completely ignored me and i never got to see the opto. Unprofessional and archaic. Go somewhere else.
