★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a joke. The only reason I am giving this review one star is because that’s lowest rating allowable.
This studio has gone down hill.
The dance recital was a complete disappointment and a waste of money.
The music choices were inappropriate or were for a retirement home Christmas Concert.
Shame on the teachers when the kids have been practicing the same dance all year and when it comes to the year end performance, it looks like they’ve been practicing for 1 month.
This studio needs a shake up or new owners.
The focus should be on the little kids as they are the future stars of dancing instead of the pockets of the adults paying for the competitive dancers. So sad that money is such a motivator.
This all reflected by the lack of smiles on the kids faces.
The professionalism of the teachers was less then desired. They should have been dressed appropriately to reflect a year end performance instead of regular scheduled yoga session.
As for the finally, the little kids should have had a spot in the front instead of behind of the older kids.
God forbid the little ones get front and center as they would be taking the spotlight away from the so-called competive dancers who fill your pockets.
Time to move on and find a dance studio that is truly focused and passionate about dance for all kids instead of just focusing on the competive dancers that believe they belong on dancing with the stars.
Bye bye Dance co.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter went from absolutely loving dancing to absolutely hating it at this studio. Over time she began to not want to go and I couldn’t figure out why. I noticed the dancers did the exact same thing every single dance class. At home she loved dancing but when it came to the studio she would beg to not go.
The costume was the exact same costume two years in a row but just a different colour. I saw all kinds of various neat costumes for other classes and kids her age but why was it the EXACT same year to year for her class? Even the song choice wasn’t appealing.
Last year when my daughter was in the class I loved it and so did she, we were pleased and loved it all. This year no.
Little to no feedback from the teacher. Seemed like the class was more of an obligation and not of importance.
Also, as I followed their Instagram and Facebook pages I noticed a lot of pictures posted of the dancers which is great, but never once of my daughter. If you’re going to post pictures at least be fair and allow everyone to get a turn. Totally began to see the favouritism which isn’t cool. No more danceco for us, we are switching studios.
I would not recommend. Not impressed!

My daughters have been dancing with DanceCo for over five years now and it is hands down the best dance experience we have had.

I have been so impressed with the emphasis on kindness and teamwork at the studio. The front desk staff is always helpful and warm. We love Dance Co!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DanceCo is an excellent choice for all ages and levels of dancing! They provide terrific classes and the teachers are all really kind and are really good with the kids. There is also the perfect amount of space for all the dancers. DanceCo is probably the best choice for a dancer at any age! The summer camps are also a great way for kids to still be able to get active and have fun. DanceCo has all the qualities for a spectacular studio. It provides: Lovely teachers, camps, great dances, great studio space and overall it is an amazing dance studio! I would recommend to anyone looking for a new studio for their child :)
