The Dalhousie Community Association takes pride in offering a variety of programs and services with hopes to enhance the quality of life for the people who live and work in Dalhousie. The DCA conducts most of its operations at the Dalhousie Community Centre, located at 5432 Dalhart RD NW. The Dalhousie Community Centre is a vibrant and dynamic building that serves as a gathering place which promotes community involvement and engagement. With approximately 9,000 residents, Dalhousie is a community that is small by big city standards, but big in community spirit.

S	Sarah Carefoot on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were at the Dalhousie Community Centre for a birthday party. The room rentals were very reasonable. It makes having a birthday party in a great location possible. One of the challenges with having a party at home is the cleaning preperations that take place before and then the massive clean up after. We were able to have the space cleaned up in 15 minutes. Everyone had a wonderful time. In warmer weather there is the playground out front. I highly recommend the Dalhousie Community Association.

N	Nomso Nnadi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely community association with a playground, swings, massive field where you would find several of the Calgary rockies (minor soccer league) teams playing in the spring and summer months. Indoor activities for all ages, and a preschool. There's a tennis court where tennis classes are offered to children and adults. A lot of activities for everyone in the family.

C	Carina Kwok on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The playground here is awesome. Shady with a few picnic benches and tables. Lots of swings, a climbing rock, slides, monkey bars, etc. Gravel base. It is between the community centre, which runs a preschool, and a junior high school so be prepared for it to get busy. The community centre itself hosts lots of events and puts out a monthly magazine, which is fantastic. You can rent the different meeting rooms and large gym-like space. A good place to visit.
C	Color of Paint Time on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best place to have a great party. Large space and Iranian association were having a lot of fun celebrating the longest night of the year. Dance floor and all necessary for a good time
J	John William Wade on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great venue for the Calgary Korean Health Show! Easy access from around the city by car or even CTrain. There is plenty of Parking and the facility is plenty big enough to hold all of the booths. The kid's playground is perfect for helping the kids burn off energy in a fun and healthy manner. The health fair has been here before and I can see why as the Community Centre is very welcoming and cost effective of different events that need a home. Definitely worth checking out!
S	Sudip Kumale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for children and adults. I am a community member here though I dont live in Dalhousie. Doesnt it tell it all? Lol. They have so many programs for kids and adults. Thier fields are full of families. I love this place. My kids go here for martial arts, soccer, sketching etc. I have never had to speak with the association members - that means never had trouble with access or thier programs. Check out their website to see the variety of programs. Dalhousie and Edgemont are awesome awesome communities to live in and raise children. Love it, love it, love it.
