Every year, I get a DQ cake for my son's birthday. I ordered the cake online, and set this location as the pick-up. The young girl who was behind the counter was nice, but the manager of that store was very rude. The girl proceeded to ring the cake into the cash register, and I was confused because I thought I paid for it online (I had been doing a lot of Christmas shopping online and it was literally the day after black Friday when I picked up the cake). The girl said she didn't think it was paid for, but asked if I wanted her to call her manager. I said no (there's no need to get the manager involved), let me just check my credit card statement to see if it came out (all I wanted was to make sure I'm not double charged! I was not looking for any trouble). However, seconds later, the manager came back to the store with an attitude. The girl asked him if it was paid for, and the manager *very rudely* told me it's impossible to pay online because they don't ask for the credit card information. I explained to him that I was just double checking my credit card statement to make sure, and he kept on raising his voice to me and saying in a demeaning manner "they have never accepted credit cards online". Instead of berating me, he could have just said "Ok" and let me do my thing. I didn't see any charge on my credit card, so I gladly paid for the cake and left - but that experience was completely unnecessary. I was not rude, raising my voice, or telling them they were wrong. I just wanted to double check because *I* wasn't sure. No wonder other reviews of this location say their customer service is terrible. The boss treats customers horribly, and probably treats his staff horribly too. That "stuff" rolls down hill. I will drive the extra 15 minutes to the DQ on Queen Street from now on.

The cakes are always best and yummy, but if you ask them to put a note or design on the cake, not that good. The one I purchase thru app does the best notes and design with full effort.

I went there yesterday and bought 2 blizzards, a Pecan Pie and Strawberry choco dip. They were BOTH a disaster. The pecan pie is all pie crust and an overbearing amount of pecan, the consistency is so horrible and sweet. The strawberry choco dip was all syrup and huge chunks of strawberries at the top. They were both soooo sweet we could not eat and toss them both. I called the store the other day as they were closed by the time I got home. I was told there was nothing they can do I should call the owner. When I described the individual who made the blizzards I was informed that he is actually the owner. I will never go back to this location. Worst blizzards I’ve ever had. Do not waste your time or money. I really do not know how they are still in business. Very poor customer service and very bad blizzards.

The owner yelled at me in front of my kids because we made multiple transactions. He said he was losing money by having multiple transactions instead of a single one and when I said I don't mind doing a single transaction but you could say so without the attitude and you saw me with multiple kids trying to make up their mind so you shouldn't have cashed me out if it is a big deal to you that only of them did, he just said I won't sell to you and turned around. He was then taunting me to go ahead and report him because nothing will happen as he's the owner. Looking at the reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one yelled by this man and corporate just sends a generic reply similar to what I received.

Terrible place. My father had been paying for ice cream for my siblings, and was using the dairy queen app to use offers. As my other siblings were still deciding, he paid for my younger sisters ice cream and was going to do another transaction for my other siblings. The manager did not seem to like that, and begun to yell at my father. Sure, he could've done a single transaction and bought all the ice cream to save time and money. But you don't have to full on yell at him and kick him out. You can't yell at him and kick him out because his CHILDREN were still deciding on what ice cream they'd like. And it wasn't like he was going to do another 10 transactions, no. He was only going to do 2! The manager made a huge fuss and refused to let my father go to his store because of such a small thing? Best not to go to this location, driving another 10 minutes to another Dairy Queen would be better than going to a DQ with not only a bad manager, but terrible staff as well.

I used to visit this place more often because I loved their Triple chocolate brownie, and also their good customer service. But, today, I really had a terrible experience there. There were two ladies and one of the ladies was in a bad mood and she seemed to be angry. As usual, I ordered Triple chocolate brownie and requested them to put a little bit more chocolate on it, but this time, I got a less as well as melted ice cream on it. Those ladies need to understand that they should not have to bring anger while serving the customers.
