★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First things first, this Dairy Queen provides disappointment 95% of the time that we walk through the door. Among some of the problems are as follows: understaffed, crew not trained properly, very disorganized, and many of the orders are lackluster or served inaccurately.
However, this recent experience was the icing on the cake, so to speak. To preface, we paid about $16.50 for three small sundaes exactly like in the photo shown. When ordering, we had asked for extra topping - as you can see, we received under the minimum, even though we had paid extra. Such was mentioned to the server, but they were apathetic in response and didn't do anything about it. The soft-serve ice cream itself hardly reached beyond the rim of the cup. One of the customers ended up waiting in line for nearly 10 minutes to ask for an extra side of topping, ice cream melting in the process.
Unfortunately, we could have gone to the store and bought at least 3 large tubs of ice cream for the same price. I would recommend this to anyone looking for ice cream.
Bottom line: lackluster service and product. Very disappointing.
Also to note: No apparent manager on duty, majority of the staff were young, contrary to staff during the day. Day staff are the only people who have gotten it right thus far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know what the lady's problem was, but at the window she was rude from the getgo. No greeting of any kind, just "$8.11!" She stands there all gruff and impatient, and sticks out the machine when I say debit, and is visibly annoyed when I take a little extra time to make sure there's enough in my chequing account. The real kicker was when she silently handed me the blizzard and I asked for the receipt, to which I got no response and she just walked away. Didn't see her again, though I waited for a few seconds.
As the old lady from Mulan would say: "who spit in her bean curd?" Having a bad day is totally acceptable. But at least hand me the receipt lol?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the treats are great this particular branch still fails at earning the the title of fast food for me. I've never had a wait time under 15 minutes for my order and even got sick from undercooked chicken fingers one time.
