Very cool place, first dish I ordered was just amazing! The apple and Avocado salad- add chicken as well and it was just delicious! Second dish was calamari which was not good- the calamari itself was extra rubbery and the crust was just to heavy and tasteless. Over all I loved this place and definitely come again once in Edmonton, I must try more as the salad just left a very good impression on me

Love this place. Great music, staff, and decor. I’ve had the seafood jambalaya and the gumbo which were both awesome. Sweet potato fries are tasty, but are always short on sauce and it’s a bit of an annoyance to be charged for more. The jalapeΓ±o jelly and biscuits are a great starter. Would recommend

Finally a date night with my wife and on a Friday evening. This was the perfect spot to enjoy some Southern/Cajun comfort food. We were seated up front looking out the bay window and were able to get in the Whyte Ave sights while enjoying drinks and dinner. First time trying a radler and bourbon and it was really good and would highly recommend. Can't have a meal without trying the biscuits and jalapeno jelly which was a nice little starter. Followed this with some calamari and finally dinner which was a blackened catfish po'boy, potato hash and my wife had the jambalaya. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We really didn't want to leave and if humanly possible, would have kept eating to stay a bit longer. Restaurant has a great diner vibe, lots of neon, classic 50ies decor. Service was impeccable, our waitress was great considering she was juggling dine in patrons, checking IDs and vaccine passports and dealing with a bunch of skip/uber eats/doordash drivers piling up at the entrance. Great experience here, we will be back again soon.

BEST NEW ORLEANS FOOD IVE EVER HAD. This place is a perfect 10. From the outside, it's not crazy flashy. It has a nice diner retro vibe, but the food is probably the best food I've had in a long time. I've had jambalaya before and I thought I didn't like it, until I came here. PORTIONS are huge and worth every penny, and the flavours are honestly amazing. Come eat here if you're reading this.

My favorite restaurant in Edmonton. The sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had. Po'boys are to die for. They do discount po'boys during the week for lunch. We bought the jalapeΓ±o jelly and DaDeO spices to take home. Cool vibes and great service. We always make a stop here whenever we're in town.

Came here with my boyfriend early Saturday evening, I ordered "combo dadeo" it had rice, grilled chicken and baked beans. The dish had a nice amount of spice, I enjoyed everything except the baked beans (which had a lot of artifical liquid smoke) my boyfriend ordered "po boys philly cheese steak" a side of rice and coleslaw. Meat was seasoned nicely and they had a good balance of cheese. The food was nothing mind blowing, we both enjoyed our meals as it felt "home cooked" , I can't see us coming back here for a few reasons. First the staff seemed very unfriendly, there is no signage saying help yourself to a seat, so we stood in the door way only to have a waitress look at us and walk away. When we did come into the restaurant we were abruptly stopped and rudely told we need to show proof of vaccination -which is fine given that we are in a pandemic. However it was the demeanor, you could tell that they could care less about your business, and just wanted us out of the way. The staff were shouting the whole time and a few members stopped to have tequila shots with the table in front of us. Since the group was crowding near our table it made the whole booth shake, and no one seemed to care that they were being disruptive. Not a lot of social distancing measures were being taken. As the establishment is a bit worn down, the tables were wobbly. The booths were very tiny making for a uncomfortable fit while eating. The interior is cute it had a old retro vibe and they play music from the 60s. Appetizers were 2 tiny stale biscuits with jalapeΓ±o jam. Bathroom is rather tiny but the upkeep is there. Overall I would rate the experience 3/5

First timer to DaDeo here! Gotta say, DaDeO is definitely your one stop shop for New Orleans food here in YEG! The price was extremely fair for the portions that I was getting! The staff was extremely nice and personable! Our server Tyler was awesome! I started off with the Corn Fritters, AMAZING! They were crispy on the outside and nice and light on the inside! Then I had the Calamari Po’boy, delicious! The jambalaya rice and side of tam fries were perfection! Everything here was delicious and I am definitely coming back for more.
