About D&D Vehicle Sales Inc

I just bought a Mercedes Sprinter from D&D for a charity that I am involved with. I will admit that I can be what you call a "high maintenance" customer. I expect that when I spend money on a car that I get EVERYTHING that I am promised. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience dealing with the guys at D & D. Everyone from the ladies up front, to the sales manager, to one of the owners I met, were all first class. Even the mechanic Louie came out of the shop to answer my questions about his recommendations for "best practices" properly maintaining this Mercedes moving forward.

Way better for experience than the last new car purchase I made. The only complaint I have about D & D is that it seems that everyone guy that I was dealing with was named "Dave". Not kidding I dealt with 3 Dave before buying this van. When I called the dealership to follow up with a previous conversation I never knew which "Dave" I spoke to last...lol! If you call these guys and you deal with a "Dave" make sure you get his last name.

I rented a truck from D&D Sales to use for a month while I was working in a very remote area. Later I went to open the tailgate and it wouldn't open. I called D&D and spoke to the sales manager, he asked me to come in but I said I was already 2 hours away from their shop and on my way to work in Northern Alberta. I said that it was annoying but I would just have to carefully lift stuff into the box. At least it was jammed in the closed position! He agreed and I continued on my way. About a week later, I'm driving and the tailgate comes off! Not just falls down and drags by the tailgate ties (because for some reason they were not attached) but actually comes off and tumbles down the road! I assume the tailgate ties were not attached and had been just stuffed down the sides which is why it was jammed in the first place. I called and explained the situation and said that I was 12 hours away from their shop (and 2 hours away from any body shop) and I would just have to take the tailgate off until my work was finished and bring it in. I also sent pictures. Not too much was said, they seemed apologetic which I expected since I could have killed someone if they had been driving closely behind me. When I returned the truck the sales manager told me I would have to pay for this damage. This shocked me and I considered canceling my credit card so they couldn't charge it but I have great credit and didn't want to mess it up by dealing with a car lot's collection's agency. They told me they would call me in a couple of days with the cost. They estimated about $700, they would give a good deal. They didn't call and I wasn't going to call them to take my money. After about 3 weeks, I started to assume that they had come to their senses and realized that this was a cost they should incur since they had rented out a vehicle with faulty components. When I got my credit card statement, I had a charge of $2086.00 from D&D Sales, 27 days after I returned it! No phone call, no email, no text message. Just a charge slipped onto my credit card. Beware of all those reviews that praise their conflict resolution. I suspect they are written by family and friends of the salespeople. The only negotiation I received was me standing there explaining why I should not be responsible for this damage and the sales manager standing there repeating over and over, "You will have to pay for this, it is your responsibility."

I was quite disappointed with the service that I received from D and D sales. I was an out of town customer and I put to much trust and faith into the sales team. I was under the impression that the truck was close to immaculate and for what was included the price was justified. I realize that used vehicles have some scratches and small dents but looking of the truck it was in worse condition than my 2006 that I just sold. I brought this to the management team along with some other concerns and was pretty much told "AS IS" . It it used and if you would like some parts at a discount with labor we can help you.... I should have just went to Kijiji if I didn't want some sort of warranty or guarantee. I have purchased vehicles from other used dealers and there is a 30, 60 and even 90 day warranty. D and D gives you nothing. I felt like my money was taken and off to the next customer. I will never recommend this company nor will I ever purchase and vehicle from them again. Shame on me for trusting the word of a salesman , this has been a hard pill to swallow after spending 60k

It was an absolute pleasure buying a vehicle from D&D. Mitch and Rebecca were friendly and helpful. They both went out of their way to help me. Rebecca worked hard to secure the lowest finance rate she could find and Mitch went out of his way to get some warranty work completed on the vehicle before delivery. It was a long drive, but definitely worth it. I wouldn't hesitate about buying from them again.

I just bought a truck from D&D week or so ago. Justine was super to work with. As i live in the NWT viewing the truck and meetig the team would have been difficult. They provided photos and videos at every request. Which made it much easier to make a decision. I had a trade in as well. They gave me competitive value and very understanding of my travel to make the sale. I asked for a piece of mind inspection to be done from Ram before i got there and they had it in and out of the garage in a day. After 16 hours of driving i picked up my new truck and off i went. I would consider buying my next vehicle from D&D and would recommend this them to another. Thanks Justine and team!

A few years ago I bought a Jeep from this dealership. Travelled from Calgary in a rental with my 4 year old daughter to get it. Very rude salesman took no time with me since it was a guaranteed sale and then gave me the vehicle on an empty tank of gas. Horrible service and I still talk about it whenever I’m in another dealership and they say they ALWAYS fill the tank and explain the vehicle features. I’ll try to find the salesman’s name too.

Without a doubt the best vehicle purchasing experience I have ever had!! They made everything incredibly easy and straight foward, I drove 8 hours to pick up my new truck and they made the process quick and simple to help me get on the road back home. Nick in sales, and Lincoln in finance were absolutely fantastic to deal with, completely upfront and honest about everything. Even after the sale they went out of their way to help me something. They will be my first call next time I'm in the market for a vehicle!!
