★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had the weekly take away Slow roasted beef dinner and it was AMAZING!
My 92 year old Dad has not had much of an appetite lately (especially for any kind of meat) but boy did he tuck into this meal! Plus, the portions are Huge! He’ll have more for another day.
Thank You D’Arcy’s we may need to make this a weekly weekend go to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I trust the raving reviews, I should go in person to the shop next time. I ordered one of the freezer packs to try out a selection of their products and it was hit and miss. I updated my review a few times as I went through the products. On one hand the "lean" ground beef was fat and rubbery, the sirloin was stringy full of tendons, and the chicken had parasites! On the other hand, the baron beef roast and pork chops were fantastic. I would like to have ''packed on'' dates on the packages though. It only had one on some sausages which were are already 2 weeks old. So it just didn't inspire me confidence for the other items...The overall experience felt like I wasn't getting the best they have to offer, and this was leftover products they didn't manage to sell in store. I do appreciate a business owner who responds to reviews, thanks for taking the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by D’Arcy’s and picked up some Wagyu/Holstein cross strips for my sons birthday, excellent quality beef definitely worth treating yourself. Great service from the staff and a wide variety or products, we buy almost all our meat from butcher shops, and if I where local D’Arcy’s would definitely be our go to. Can’t wait for our next trip to Edmonton so I can stock up and maybe give the A5 a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in to buy tenderloin steaks as they have them listed as on sale on their website, was told by the girl behind counter they are no longer on sale. Showed her my phone that shows their website still has them listed as on sale and she said that is their online only pricing and they can’t do it in store. Rated 2 stars for decent selection of products in store but I didn’t buy anything.
** edit to respond to owner. I am not looking for hand outs or freebies I was in the store for several minutes after the employee told me that I would have needed to purchase online to get the online pricing and she had come back to talk to me after speaking to someone else I was never told at any point they would honour the online price. I was also with someone else who was shopping hence why I was in the store so long and she also heard the whole exchange. If I come in to a place I expect good service and won’t call or email to rectify a situation that in my opinion shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've purchased steaks and roasts from the Southside store and I'm always extremely happy with the meat. I'm very picky about the meat I buy and how it's trimmed. Everything I've purchased has been well trimmed, no excess fat or gristle and no waste. Also the staff and butchers offer excellent customer service and very accommodating for what I ask for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased half a bone in ham from D'Arcy's Meats in St. Albert and oven baked it for New Year's Day. The taste was AMAZING and it had a wonderful texture. And not salty like store bought hams. If you want to experience what a ham should really taste like - go to Darcy's - the staff is super helpful and the quality of their products is exceptional - the best meat market in St. Albert/Edmonton!!!
