I think that some of the staff is awesome, however we did have a extremely bad experience with one sales lady on Friday. It was a sad day for us that we had to leave our planned cash in hand purchase behind. ?

I bought 3000ei generator there. I ordered $450 remote starter to be added on it for us to start it up in the house without going outside. We relied this power source if we need electricity when sun is not up for our solar system at our off grid home. For first 3 months it was blessed for my wife to start generator whilst she was still in the pj. After that remote starter wont start. I brought it to Northcycle repair shop. Few days later they told me a part was replaced. Two weeks later generator wont start by remote starter again. My wife ended up going outside to start it up. I am not comfortable to see her going outside every day in the morning or evening in the dark whilst I am gone working as semi truck driver. I asked Northcycle again they told me to send generator there for repair Few days they said it is fixed. I brought it back home. it was not light weight generator I am only one who have to lift it on my truck worried that I may snap my back or have my fifth hernia injury and we live 1 hour out of town. Few days later it just went back to square one. I went to Northcycle again after many months for my wife to go outside to start it up everyday but managed to shut it down with remote. The repair shop made excuses because of cold climate or how i didnt start it properly. I find it’s bizarre because we had Firman generator with remote. we were able to start Firman generator easily anytime without hassle even in minus 10 but it would be difficult to start while it’s extremely cold out there. My wife wished that she can use Firman but its well used for $900 generator. it got tired. We thought if we bought $5000.00 Honda generator included electric remote starter that would be five times better but no it is five times worst than Firman. Honda generator itself is awesome but its poor service by Northcycle. The repair shop was the one who installed poorly with electric remote starter. After I learned that I was told to book for an appointment. I turned and walked straight out of Northcycle. If you want to buy items there. Great but dont send them in for repair or make sure you can sent for repair somewhere else if the other repair shop can cover with warranty. I still have warranty on my generator. Not happy here with the service there. I am not going to drop my generator there for fourth times. They may think I am too dumb because I am myself deaf. I am going to work on it to get it fixed at once.

I originally didn't comment on my 1 star review. Since the GM decided to reply before reaching out to me to get an understanding of why I left my rating, I feel it is important to respond. The issues were more than just the assembly. But since the GM decided to go public before reaching out and getting a fuller understanding of all the issues here is my response. I did purchase 3 parts from your establishment. I have purchased many stihl products from other places. I did assemble the parts and followed the instructions. But there was a step that wasn't exactly clear and when I spoke to your service person, he did mention that is why it is important for them to assemble it. He also mentioned it was $35 assembly for each attachment. I have never been charge for assembly before as stihl recommends that your business should assemble and make sure the customer is satisfied before leaving. I wasn't offered assembly and it took over an hour before they found the attachments on the day i purchased them. There were plenty of issues on this transaction, not just the assembly. When I asked questions on the purchase day, there were plenty of I dont know, we are new to sthil. Or I am unsure of how it works. My confidence was not high in the sales staff upon purchase. Get your facts straight before you before answer. I know it is your job to try and protect your business but if you look at most of my reviews they are positive. I really do take a moment and reflect before i leave a negative review. So including the GM reply, the overall experience was very negative and the 1 star was justified. the service was by far the worst experience I have had in dealing with Stihl. I will continue to use and purchase these products, just not from your establishment.

Bought a Solar 470 Strela from Darren Bell but have not tried the boat out yet. But what I can say is this guy gives great service. Ordered the boat from 4 provinces away and he was there for my every question and the logistical what if's. Old school service other wards patient, honest and actually trying to get you into the right fit for your needs. I highly recommend Darren for your power sports needs no matter where you are he can help!

Bought a Vstrom 1050 through Kodi all over text and email, did financing with Britt the same method. Never actually talked to them until I drove down from Dawson Creek to pick up the bike. This was so easy to do with both there help and patience that I recommend this dealership 110%. Was surprised how large the dealership was and the amount of customers waiting at 9am for them to open, busy place tells me a lot about a business. Great job you guys! Todd Sexton
