Cutting Edge has employed me for many years, though I don't work for them currently. Guys, listen. Despite a few negative reviews I will give you the truth about cutting edge. Yes they work long hours. Yes cut breaks when needed but they deliver. I have never worked for someone who cares about his clients and the quality they put into the work as much as Kris hasalomf with the rest of his team. Why do you think theh work so much? To make sure everything is a 100% for you. If you're looking to get landscaping done or even need recommendation you can bet you can call these guys and they will be happy to help. I have my ups and downs with them but that was as an employee but if I were a client I would hands down have them do my work. And for the employees and for future employees, let me say that I have worked for almost every landscaping company in Edmonton and greater area and no one will treat you better than these guys. I have gotten pay cheques months late from other companies. I have even had to go to labojr standards to get paid a lousy 1000 dollars. have been degraded and cheated many times but cutting edge hasn't done me wrong. If anything they helped me aquir a work ethic that is being admired by my current employer ( and I work for the city). I have gotten every penny I worked for by Cutting Edge. I have been recognized and rewarded for my hard work through raises and bonuses. No word of a lie here. I have gotten all my OT and as much OT as I wanted. It was always paid in full and on time. Cutting Edge is by far the best company to go. Highly recommended. Plus, they're managers are the best. Best sense of humour ever.

HORRIBLE company to work for. They work you like a dog! 14 hour shifts, no water, some foreman skip lunch. Others will say hurry up and eat. Giving you 10 min lunches. Low wages. Guys are always tired and exhausted. All foreman are boss pleasers so they make you work exesive If your done all your work for the day they tell you to go to another crew and help them, making your day super long.

The work on 93st is coming along well, but after a closer look I had noticed sod work was not installed properly. Not flesh with the sidewalks, not staggered and not close to fences which was showing a few inches of dirt. Either the workers don't want to make the necessary cuts and get the job done in a time frame or they don't properly know how to install. I had mentioned this to a worker and he couldn't care less and I didnt get his name. I understand they work hard and long hours but cutting corners is not what I expect of a landscaping company. It's not that it has to be up to my standards it's the fact that work should be done correctly.

Literally looked like you guys just threw the sod down and rolled it out. Bare minimum kinda stuff. Very little attention to detail on the installation. I fixed what I could in front of my place after work. Not to mention you guys didn't even pack down, the poorly raked, dirt. By the looks of it this company covers alot of ground over a short period. Better luck next time I guess. Shortcuts > Quality ??? 122 Ave all the way southbound down 93st . I didn't realize expecting a job to be completed correctly is considered having high standards.

I rather not share my experience with this company..... al I can say is there is alway a better company.....
