A ferry across the lake (for a fee), waterfalls, a cave to climb through, and an awesome Alpine lake at the top. I've hiked crypt lake 3 times and loved it each time. Must do hike if you're in the area and able!

A ferry ride to the trailhead (busy on the weekends and holidays, so make sure to line up early) for a cost - they are limiting the number of people right now due to the pandemic. I’d say the hike is pretty moderate, but distance made it challenging and definitely an all-day hike. Views are pretty epic. You see two waterfalls, gorgeous mountains, a cave which you have to go through, and an alpine lake at the top. Some people choose to go around the lake, which we did, but a lot of people choose to not. A number of brave people go for a dip in the lake as well, but i’d say water’s a bit too cold. A pretty enjoyable hike overall - don’t forget to bring lots of water and a hat as there will be lots of open area without shade.
E	Emma Langham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing trail with stunning views. The tunnel and section with the cable were definitely out of my comfort zone but just about manageable. Recommend walking around crypt lake to get great views if you have time. We spotted a grizzly on the trail so make sure you have bear spray with you.
