Dear Clients,

With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 25, 2020 the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.

WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!

SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE

Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".

The vet was very straight forward with his diagnoses while still being super compassionate about the circumstances. Although my little guy was older, we weren't expecting that he would only have a month or two to live. When the time came, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone there shared the same professionalism and compassion. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I felt more at ease having chose Crossroads Animal Hospital.

I would call and just ask basic questions about dog food, allergies, prescriptions, exams… and every time, every inquiry, I was treated with such hostility out of nowhere. If I was just rating the vets, the stars would be higher. That being said, Sameer was always so kind and compassionate when we came in, understanding the emotional experiences we have had with our dog. After multiple times of being treated negatively, we decided to change vets. Bringing loved ones to the vet is stressful enough, ladies with attitudes with customers for asking questions doesn’t help these situations. Will be on the lookout for Sameer in the vet community elsewhere some day.

Her compassion for animals and their owners touched my heart and positively impacted my and my family's grieving process. All staff we interacted with leading up to and during his last appointment showed us kindness, patience and understanding. We were offered ample opportunity to ask questions and express concerns. When the answer to one of my questions was unknown, they found out and followed up with the answers for me. When I didn't trust myself to be able to speak without completely breaking down, they accepted written information from me instead of verbal. This has been one of the hardest days of my life, but Dr. Ramos and everyone else at Crossroads definitely helped to make it smoother for my pet, me and my family. Thank you! ?

Dr.Mason was the kindest man. He went over questions with me and answered everything with patience. The clinic gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye.Dr.Mason made the hardest day of our lives easier and we will always appreciate his compassion.

Our boy had a tough week leading up to this decision and I can’t say enough about the staff for always making room to get him in to be looked at. Dr. Manson did his best to try and turn Wheeler around but it was not to be. The day we made the decision Dr. Brandt was amazing guiding us through the process. The reception team was amazing as well. When I picked up his ashes today I was floored to find an incredible paw print keepsake and very nice card. It is truly heartbreaking losing a fur baby but the team at Crossroads made it a little bit easier. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! One day when we are ready to open our hearts to another fur baby we will for sure be using Crossroads.
