A few weeks ago I inquired about availability. Partner and I were on our way up north, my car broke down, we needed a place to stay at least for the night. This was the first suggestion on google. Good reviews. Prices on the website were reasonable, description appealing. Maybe this can be our vacation destination instead.
I call to ask about availability and pricing. I brief her on the situation since it was 9, an odd hour to call. She tells me there are two rooms open then asks about my story again. Tells me it's a two night minimum, which I tell her is fine. After about 5-10 minutes of "uh..um", asking me to repeat the story a few more times, and dodging my questions, she says "there are other hotels in the area you can probably call". Her tone was rude. I would rather her just tell me she didn't want to rent to me or didn't feel comfortable at that time instead of wasting our time.
Now we're looking to have a real weekend getaway, something romantic and private. We won't be visiting "Crews on Inn", that's for sure. That interaction was enough to make this place inconsiderable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crews On Inn is a charming place in the heart of Huntsville. Suzanne went out of her way to give us the inside scoop on Huntsville and surrounding area, and had new slippers for us to enjoy given it was such a cold weekend.
PROS: great host, good location, and lots of little touches to make it feel like an authentic experience in a home built in the 1800s, including a very old phone and a curtain bed. Nice jacuzzi tub and a well-stocked common kitchen.
CONS: central location but a tad noisy being right on the Main Street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the Crews on Inn during our honeymoon to Canada in September and we stayed for a full week in the luxury Rose suite which was absolutely brilliant. The suite was clean and well looked after by Suzanne who was an excellent host throughout or stay. Suzanne has done a fantastic job with the Inn and has excellent knowledge of the area which really helped us decide what to do during our stay. All these personal touches are the reasons why staying here is much better than in any hotel.
The highlight of the visit had to be the pontoon trip with Suzanne on the lakes around Huntsville. The trip took us around the three lakes and ended with a barbecue on the sand bar which Suzanne cooked for us, just a fantastic day.
We cannot recommend the Crews on Inn enough and we will be going back here during future visits to Canada, definitely worth five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom and I stayed at this location in late December 2020 just before Christmas. We both had a great time! The location is super convenient being close to downtown Huntsville. We stayed in the Luxury ? suite and the area is so homey, chill and cozy. There were all kinds of pretty holiday decorations. The room and space had pretty much anything you need with WiFi, TV, DVD's, VHS, bar fridge, tables, nice shower, couch, bed etc and not to mention a fun jacuzzi! The shared kitchen outside is also great as it has all the anemities. The house has a cool, vintage vibe too being a historic home. Suzanne was a great host! Will be returning again sometime!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended. We had a wonderful time at this B&B. The suites are charming and Suzanne's attention to detail was amazing. Right down to the romantic candles in the jacuzzi spa. We loved the opportunity to go out on a guided tour of lake Vernon in Suzanne's houseboat. Suzanne knows the area very well. She is a very attentive host. Such a convenient location too - walking distance from the downtown shops and parks was great. The location is also close to lovely nature trails that take you along the new floating dock built all along the river. We will definitely be going back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in need of accommodation for a month as I was having reno's done to my home had to move out. I was fortunate enough to get booked into the Luxury Rose Honeymoon Suite. It was extremely comfortable, private and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and enjoyed several good nights sleep. The owner is very hospitable and was always available to look after any of her guests needs. I highly recommend the Crews on Inn, for anyone who wants to get away for a treat

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner Troy and I visited Huntsville for a weekend getaway and stayed at the Crews On Inn. We stayed in the Rose Suite and enjoyed a wonderful stay. Suzanne is a gracious host and made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. The jacuzzi tub is fantastic and the suite is eclectically decorated with antique furniture and "old world charm." If you are looking for an incredible place to stay with excellent service and ammentities, Crews On Inn is where you should reserve your suite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suzanne’s place was very cute and cozy. It had everything we needed! Towels, kitchen supplies, robes and even slippers. Very nice touches. We stayed at the Willow suite.
The home was built in the 1800s and you can expect some rustic vibes from it which is understandable. The place does have mice in the winter and they’re hard to keep out in a place this old. So if you’re squeamish, this place isn’t for you. These little guys run around the place at night and aren’t scared of humans. They got into all of our food bags on the counters, so we had to hang a lot of it and put most in the fridge.
There’s also a leak from the ceiling when the unit upstairs turns water on, so I just put a cup under it, otherwise the couch would be soaked. It stopped after 20 min. Again, century home, totally expected.
Other than that, very nice place! Thanks Suzanne for your hospitality.
