Review Date: July 23rd, 2015 The last place visited in Canada is, of course, a city park. If you’ve been following this blog for a decent length of time, you are aware that I have wrote a lot of short reviews for city parks in my area. My trip through Canada wouldn’t be complete without visiting a city park. We rolled up on a bright sunny afternoon for a quick stop to stretch out our legs and let the kids burn off some energy on the playground. Stopping here was a perfect stop before crossing the border back in to the states. The sun was shining, the air was fresh, legs were stretched, and the surrounding area was beautiful. While the kids played, us adults chilled out and took in the scene around the park. It was located in a downtown area with a waterfront off to the side. Truly a unique place for a park. But, that didn’t stop people from visiting as it was fairly packed for early afternoon. I would like to describe the actual park itself but it seems to have gone through some upgrades since I was last there. So, anything posted after this sentence will be outdated. The park itself was large for one located downtown Vancouver. Parking wasn’t a huge issue due to the sheer size of the area dedicated to the park, walking paths and the waterfront. My cousin and I were able to sneak on one of the jungle gym playgrounds for a few candid/fun photos. I don’t remember specifics about everything the park offered but I remembered that the view was just perfect. Plus, I remember seeing some odd buildings off in the distance that time did not allow us to check out. If you find yourself in Vancouver, do yourself a favor and check out Creekside Park if you need a moment to clear your head and take in a truly unique scene. Browsing the park’s website, it appears they have a zip line now. Wish they would’ve had that when I visited! That could have marked something off my bucket list.

Nice walking path and bike path along the seawall. Good view of the false Creek and science world. However, lots of geese poop everywhere, but I guess that's the work of nature that we can't control. Lots of benches along the path if you feel like sitting down for a snack/break. Not much shaded area though, so, can get very hot on a hot day. We did find a bench with some shades, however, because it is directly under a tree, the bench is full of bird poop. Otherwise it's a good place to come hang out and get some fresh air

A busy park area by science works and the Main Street science world sky train station. It’s usually fairly busy on a sunny day but kids seems to enjoy it. There is a playground and nice walkway along the waterfront there. Worth going to if your in the area.

Good park for all ages just parking doesn’t seem to work properly with only the option for $21 and cant use HangTag even though it says it could.
