★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst wine making store! I asked my wife to go and pick up some mead or wine yeast for a brew which I was going to do soon. This place sold her beer yeast and told her 'it would be fine'. I am not sure what kind of a wine making shop would sell beer yeast instead of wine yeast. The store hasn't been open on 5 different occasions for me to get a return. I will never go here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dont even recall if I had done a Google review before but this time I have to. Avoid this place. Two things.
1) the sign says the place was open but the place was locked. Then later a person opened the door for me.
2) Horrible customer service. By mistake I paid with my company credit card. I asked the transaction to be canceled and I would pay with my personal credit card. I even mentioned I would pay any penalty fee required, he still refused.
Notice, legally I'm entitled to a full refund if I wanted to return the items (specially when I had not even touched them yet). So, I dont see what was his problem. I repeat, I had not even touched the items yet.
Instead, I had to contact my employer and explain the situation.
Edit: the person replied saying he would refund me with cash. Still he is clueless on what he did. I was going to pay with my other credit card. Meaning there was no way he going to lose his money. Avoid this place

I haven’t tried any of their wine kits yet but will definitely be in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is hands down my favorite wine store in Edmonton and surrounding areas (and I've been to all of them :) The wine is great but the Customer Service is what makes this store outstanding. The owner is so friendly kind knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks Creative Connoisseur for making my Wine Hobby a fun and enjoyable experience, you go above and beyond!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Any business that says they are open, but turned out to not be, definitely deserves a one star rating! No explanation posted in the window as to why they are closed early. Hours of operation clearly state they’re supposed to be open. How disappointing. Guess I’ll just go to a Estate Brewing another day like I normally would.

Review update: I have since attended this business once and the service I received was good and considerate. Still have a bad taste in my mouth from my first review, but definitely need some more stars given the last experience. Increased to 3-stars.
