We caught enough Chinook to fill our freezers and had lots of fun, we highly recommend Elden/Crab Shack if you're looking for a successful fishing adventure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elden is the real deal. He is a local professional and has great knowledge since he grew up here. The boat was perfect for me and my wife on our anniversary since you can be inside and use the washroom when needed. Some other guys are a little cheaper and have smaller boats and less experience...but not worth it to cheap out. We've chartered 4x over the last 3 years and stayed warm and safe and got our limit each time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an awesome adventure salmon fishing. The boat was ready to go and after a quick ride out of the harbour we were fishing right away. Caught lots of fish and learned lots. An amazing way to spend a day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was invited to attend an Employee day with the Victoria 24/7 Electric Team. It was great fun and the kind day many dream of to just hang out on the water hearing stories and fishing. The day was a Calm and you really couldn't ask for a nicer day in October on the water. We were able to catch some fish but the high light for me was the Crabs. Having never experienced it before it was just so neat to pull out the trap and then measure and keep or toss back the crabs. To top it all off there is nothing better then eating fresh crab and fish you were able to haul out of the Ocean that same day. The guys at Crab Shack Sport fishing our truly local guys with stories about the area that will fascinate anyone. I would highly recommend experiencing what they have to offer. We were also able to spot a submarine too!
