β β β β β The first whale watchin of the season - and we were very lucky! We saw whales several times, sometimes quite close and many dolphins. Excellent guide, good overals which made us dry and warm. Friendly atmosphere, easy booking. We can highly recommend!

β β β β β By far the best whale-watching tour I've ever been on. Friendliest pair of people running it, can't beat the price, and free professional photos of any of the wildlife we saw! Will come back again next time.

β β β β β We did a family whale watching trip this morning with Mike and we had the best time! We saw so many humpbacks and my daughters thought the boat ride was the best part :) It was a beautiful, warm day and Mike shared loads of info about whales and the area. We also saw seals, sea lions and porpoises. I love that we didn't have to worry about taking photos and I can't wait to receive the ones Mike took. Sarah was super pleasant checking us in and out. Such a lovely team! I highly recommend Adventures by HIP. It was a perfect morning adventure.

β β β β β My daughter and I had the most amazing time, the crew was so helpful and quick at responding to our questions. Apparently, the week before they hadn't had much luck finding any whales, but they went out of their way to get us out there at the perfect time. We were very lucky to see several on our tour...such an incredible experience!

β β β β β All around amazing first time experience! It was easy to book and we were lucky to get really nice weather. Mike was awesome at finding whales, and was very knowledgeable about wildlife and the water we were on. I felt safe the whole time, and got to see some majestic, beautiful humpback whales. The cost was very reasonable, considering the experience had and the amount of time on the water. Definitely will be coming back and going on another tour with Adventures By HIP!! Thanks again!

β β β β β So happy we were able to book last minute with this tour group. We WhatsApp them the night before and they were gracious enough to accommodate us for the following days 2pm tour. Had such a blast, great communication and easy to book. We saw so many humpback whales! Tons of fun, highly recommend!

β β β β β This was a very last minute booking for us after a fractured ankle set back our hiking plans. Sarah got us booked for an adventure the next day and saved our last day of vacation! Bentley met us at the dock was the sweetest meet-and-greeter possible and charmed everyone on our tour. Captain Mike took us on a wonderful boat ride and was very knowledgeableβ¦ seriously, ask him anything about the area/critters. Mike was also excellent at spotting wildlife and we saw β and smelled β no fewer than 7 humpbacks up close and personal (plus a variety of other sea critters). If you want an authentic, down to earth experience Sarah and Mike (and Bentley) are the people to call!

β β β β β I would highly recommend this whale watching company. We took a tour this morning and we were very impressed with the set up. The initial meet and greet, form filling and survival suit allocation was fast and painless. The two coxswains/Captains were both nice chaps and knowledgeable. We struck extremely lucky in the fact that we saw a pod of about 20 orcas that were from the endangered Southern Resident Orcas. (J~Pod). What was lovely was that the boat steered away from the pod to give them lots of space and the coxswain called the appropriate authorities to report the sighting. He was very good in explaining the reasons these whales are endangered. We were then spoilt by seeing a large number of humpbacks, just circling around our boats. Everywhere you looked we saw humpbacks. Overall, this was a fun tour lasting 2.5 to 3 hrs. Well worth the money!
