★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have referred numerous friends and family to Pat at Bluefin Charters. His knowledge and expertise is evident when you get out fishing. His boat is comfortable and clean and he supplies all the gear, bait and tackle. He really knows these waters and when and where to get the fish. My family from England recently went out and came back with 2 halibut and 5 salmon. They had a fantastic time. I would recommend anyone wanting a fishing experience to give him a call and book soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pat did a great job and 3 of us caught our limit of Chinook salmon. The other fisherman followed him and asked him what was working. The covered area and on board washroom and fast big boat were all nice and enjoyable touches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pat was a charming and funny host, which enhanced our experience! While everyone else was essentially skunked, my daughter and I still managed to catch impressively-sized spring salmon, along with a number of other small catch-and-release fish - the experience of catching these will live on in our memories! We loved our trip and will go back again when we are on Vancouver Island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pat is simply the best. We've done Nootka but had more fun, more fish with Pat. So much so going back tomorrow. Worth coming in from States to go out with him. Reviews about others following his lead are spot on. He is a man of integrity, great humor and knowledge. Go with Blue Fin. Start to finish you won't regret it.

Captain Pat is a legend. We caught as much as we were able to, and Captain Pat was instrumental in making sure we were able to get everything sent home.
We had a phenomenal time and we can’t wait to come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pat is a great source of knowledge on and off the ocean. After fishing the Sooke river alone with no luck, Pat was able to to guide me towards the correct technique and gear in order to land the big one!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Captain Pat is an absolute legend. We were the only boat out of 3 to catch our daily limit. Just let Pat do his thing in the back of the boat and you'll catch fish! Best memory of the trip was when Pat grabbed the fishing rod and casted it as we were going thru a school of fish and I kid you not the hook barely touched the water before FISH ON!
10/10 would go again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Captain Pat really knows his stuff. On our day we seemed to be the only boat that was consistently landing salmon. We would have caught our quota if it weren't for a couple of novice rod bumbles. Pat will teach you what you need to know. Great fun, freezer full of salmon.
