As we spend lots of time on the island but never really seen things from the ocean looking in. We asked around about going fishing, and we'll that lead us to max. It was Kaylee and my 10 year anaversay! So we wanted to make sure we were going to get the best out of the day. After meeting with max, we also meet his wife and daughter. And knew that we couldn't go wrong with this guy. The knowledge was there, easy to talk to and made thing comfortable for every one. knowing that he was the professional he did his job to the (T) it was a day well spent and a great first time experience. My self likeing to try new things can truly say I will not be trying any one new next time it will be straight back to max for sure. I would recommend cr sport fishing with max. Get out there! I can promise you will be back again. We sure will be!

I would recommend max at ca sport fishing to anyone that's down to earth and looking for an enjoyable experience full of laughs and all around great time.

I've caught lots of fish with Max now but one salmon will stick in mind forever. 40+ lb tyee in front of Campbell River. I highly recommend CR Sport Fishing.

Max put us onto a variety of fish species (including Sockeye, Spring and Coho) and was a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Great time on the boat. One of the highlights was a pod of orcas swimming right past our boat. Would recommend.

Even released a monster size fish after it stripped all of the line from the reel and broke the main 50 lb test line. It was so big and gets bigger every time we tell the story. Letting it grow for the next angler to experience!! Try Max Wiebe for your next fishing trip...you won't be disappointed!!

I’ve been out with him three years in a row now and I’m excited to go out again in 2019 with him. Max went out of his way on several occasions to make sure we had a good experience and of course got fish in the boat. When the fish were biting he made sure we took advantage of it and when they weren't biting he has made the decision to move to a different location which has ended up working out great. We all had a great time with him and all got to catch fish. Max has a great boat, had all the gear needed for fishing and keep it all in great condition to make sure the fishing experience goes as good as it can. I would highly recommend using Max for any of your fishing needs in Campbell River and know I will be back in his boat again.
